Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. IT Auditor based in Coconut Grove, Florida. This role focuses on evaluating, testing, and documenting IT controls and systems, as well as reporting audit findings. Responsibilities: + Conduct audits in accordance with established standards and best practices. + Evaluate and document general IT controls and system application controls. + Assess the adequacy and effectiveness of IT control measures. + Review and analyze SOC reports. + Communicate audit findings and recommendations to management. + Perform special audits or reviews as requested. + Utilize accounting software systems, audit programs, CaseWare, CCH ProSystem Fx, and CobiT for audit tasks. + Participate in audit engagements and contribute to audit plan development. + Assist with accounting functions as needed. + Analyze audit findings to suggest process improvements. Requirements + Proficiency in accounting software systems is essential. + Strong experience in audit program development and execution. + Familiarity with CaseWare is highly desirable. + Expertise in CCH ProSystem Fx software is required. + In-depth understanding of the CobiT framework and its application in IT auditing. + Solid knowledge of accounting functions. + Proven ability to manage audit engagements effectively. + Strong communication skills for presenting audit findings to stakeholders. + Experience in IT auditing within specialized industries is preferred. + Ability to develop and execute comprehensive audit plans.
