Honeywell is seeking a highly experienced Senior Director of\nIT Infrastructure to lead the operations of infrastructure systems at technical\nsites and the planning and execution for integration and divestiture activities.\nThis people leader role will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams\nacross Honeywell to reliably operate technical infrastructure at supply chain\nand engineering sites while also planning and executing on Honeywell\nacquisition and divestiture plans.
Key Responsibilities:
-Maintain reliable technical operations at critical sites for Server and Network infrastructure.
-Lead technical teams and ensure their strong engagement and career growth.
-Develop and implement the strategy for the separation of IT infrastructure, including Servers, Networks, Laptops, Databases, and Global Support.
-Facilitate regular meetings and communications to track progress, address challenges, and ensure adherence to project timelines.
-Oversee and manage aspects of the IT separation project for specific sites, ensuring effective planning, execution, and reporting.
-Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to evaluate project success and alignment with industry standards.
-Assess and allocate resources effectively to ensure that the project remains on schedule and within budget.
-Coordinate with internal and external resources to fulfill IT needs throughout the acquisition and separation processes.
-Create comprehensive documentation to support infrastructure decisions, processes, and compliance requirements.
-Ensure adherence to regulatory and industry standards in the setup of IT infrastructure.
-Work closely with senior leadership, key stakeholders, and operational teams to ensure that infrastructure solutions align with business objectives.
-Foster a collaborative environment to address potential obstacles and promote alignment across teams.
Education:
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information\nTechnology, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
Experience:
-10+ years of relevant experience in IT Infrastructure management, preferably within large-scale organizations.
-Proven experience managing complex IT projects, ideally including infrastructure separation processes or mergers and acquisitions.
Technical Skills:
-Expertise in IT infrastructure components including servers, networks, databases, and end-user devices.
-Familiarity with cloud technologies and global IT support models.
-Strong project management skills with a certification (PMP, PRINCE2, etc.) preferred.
-Demonstrated ability to manage cross-functional teams and drive results.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
