Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual reviews of the financial performance of technical investments. Participate in the development of annual technical budgets. Contributes to the business cases developed for IT initiatives. Measure actual vs. planned technical financial performance and identify continuous improvement opportunities. Prepare remediation plans for technical expenses forecasted to exceed approved budgets. Present technical financial performance results to department and corporate stakeholders. Proactive management of technical agreements and contracts. Create and maintain knowledge base of technical financial management policy and procedures. Utilize the Technical Business Management and FinOps frameworks for financial analysis and procedural documentation. Collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders across multiple departments.What We're Looking For:
Education: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field. Experience: Minimum of four 4+ years of financial accounting, analysis, and reporting. Skills: Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, experience with data visualization tools like Microsoft Power BI or Tableau, and an understanding of fundamental IT services. Communication: Ability to effectively communicate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Preferred Experience:
Familiarity with the Technical Business Management (TBM) framework and Cloud Financial Management (FinOps). Experience with technical financial management tools (e.g., Apptio).*This is a 5 days a week in office role out of our corporate office at 10173 Gilroy Rd, Cockeysville, MD 21030.
The base salary compensation range for this role is $85,000 to $105,000. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate’s relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location.
