Sr. IT Financial Systems Analyst

Summary

The Sr. IT Financial Systems Analyst will act as the lead front-end administrator of Masco's Oracle Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), Financial Data Quality Management Enterprise Edition (FDMEE) and Oracle Enterprise Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (EPBCS) systems. This role requires a deep understanding of financial consolidation, planning, and reporting processes. The senior analyst will work closely with finance, IT, and other groups to support business needs and drive continuous improvement in financial processes. They will also act as team lead to the front-end administrators of these tools.

Key Responsibilities:Lead all aspects of the front-end administration of the HFM, FDMEE, and EPBCS systems, including maintaining metadata, rules, and member lists, developing reports, creating locations and scripts, and granting user access.Supervise systems analyst(s)/front-end administrator(s) of these systems, assigning and reviewing their work while acting as a mentor, providing direction and training.Ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data within these systems, including data validation and reconciliation.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of our financial processes. Analyze and communicate service and support request metrics to ensure performance objectives are met.Act as an IT business partner to the various finance groups to understand their needs and challenges and translate business requirements into technical specifications. Facilitate regular multi-functional team meetings.Provide support to business partners and end-users. Minimal off-hours monitoring required during the close. Conduct training sessions as needed. Update and distribute instructions and documentation for the various tools supported.Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and regulatory requirements related to financial reporting, working closely with both internal and external auditors.Lead and participate in projects related to system upgrades, improvements, and integrations with other financial systems.Provide support for other various finance systems on a rotation with other members of the team.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of hands on administrative experience with Oracle HFM and FDM.Proficiency in HFM administration, including maintaining rules, metadata and member lists, ensuring data integrity, handling security access, and developing reports.Proficiency in FDM administration, including working with locations, data load rules, maps, scripts, data integrations, and resolving data load challengesProficiency in related tools such as Excel, Oracle Smart View for Office, and Oracle Financial Reporting Studio.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, having the capacity to interpret complex financial data and recommend continuous improvements to business processes.Self-motivated, skilled at both oral and written communication with the ability to collaborate with multi-functional teams.Experience in leading projects, including system implementations and upgrades.Preferred Qualifications:Oracle EPBCS administrator experience, including managing planning applications, creating forms, and maintaining metadata and business rules is highly preferred.Experience with other Oracle EPM products.Proficiency in Excel VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) for automating tasks, creating custom functions, and enhancing spreadsheet functionality.Knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.Experience in a multinational, multicurrency, or multi-entity environment.

Hiring Range: $74,500.00 - $117,040.00
