Job Title: Project Delivery Lead / Scrum Master Pay Grade: M2 Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Project Delivery Lead / Scrum Master to join our dynamic team. This role is a unique blend of IT project management and agile leadership, responsible for the successful delivery of complex IT projects by managing scope, cost, schedule, risks, and stakeholder expectations. You will work with cross-functional Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), both onshore and offshore resources, and multiple third-party vendors to drive project execution. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the full project lifecycle, managing budgets, tracking project progress, and preparing comprehensive reports for various levels of management. As a Scrum Master, you will also facilitate agile processes, coach teams, and ensure adherence to agile methodologies. Project Management: + Lead end-to-end IT project delivery, ensuring successful project execution while adhering to scope, timeline, budget, and quality standards. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to define project objectives, deliverables, and timelines. + Manage risks, dependencies, and changes to ensure project success, mitigating issues as they arise. + Develop and manage detailed project plans, including scope, schedule, and resource allocation. + Track and monitor project performance, adjusting plans as needed to meet project goals and deadlines. + Work closely with onshore and offshore resources, ensuring alignment on project deliverables and expectations. + Coordinate with multiple third-party vendors, ensuring their integration into the project delivery process. Budget and Financial Management: + Oversee the project budget, including forecasting, tracking actuals, and ensuring alignment with financial goals. + Prepare and present financial reports to senior leadership, highlighting variances and recommending corrective actions. + Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all project-related expenditures and track spend against budget. Stakeholder Management: + Manage and exceed stakeholder expectations by providing timely updates on project status, risks, and issues. + Present project progress, challenges, and risks in multiple forums, including Steering Committees and executive meetings. + Document and maintain key decision notes and project-related communications to ensure transparency and accountability. Agile Leadership & Scrum Master Responsibilities: + Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies (e.g., Daily Standups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives) for the team. + Ensure the team follows agile best practices and continuously improves through retrospectives. + Act as a servant leader, helping to remove impediments and fostering a collaborative team environment. + Guide and mentor team members in agile principles, ensuring alignment with the Scrum framework. Management Leadership: + Provide leadership and guidance to Project Managers, helping to develop their skills and ensure consistent delivery standards across projects. + Collaborate with other project leads to ensure alignment across initiatives and share best practices. + Foster a culture of continuous improvement, driving efficiency, quality, and innovation across projects. Qualifications: + Required: + Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field (or equivalent experience). + 3+ years of experience in IT project management, leading complex projects with cross-functional teams. + Strong experience in both waterfall and agile methodologies, including Scrum. + Proven experience in managing project budgets, scope, schedules, and stakeholder expectations. + Solid understanding of IT systems, infrastructure, and software development lifecycle. + Demonstrated ability to lead both onshore and offshore teams and manage third-party vendor relationships. + Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas and status updates to executive leadership and stakeholders.
