Sr. IT Manager of PMO & Compliance

The Senior IT Manager of PMO & Compliance is responsible for the successful planning & delivery of a slate of projects each year (e.g. Field Service Management, ERP, CRM, Contact Center).   This role ensures that projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet the organization's strategic goals. The position provides leadership, guidance, and support to cross-functional project teams, ensuring adherence to PMO standards and best practices. Provides process improvement, relationship management, security integration, and change management.

Responsible for ensuring compliance with PMO/ITIL Standards, and IT audit/compliance/SOX practices.  Position conducts thorough IT audit/compliance evidence research and precisely documents results to support internal and external SOX testing. Collaborates with internal management and corporate audit/compliance departments. Performs IT control assessments/reviews to determine compliance with policies, and standards (e.g. Project Approval, demand management, application & asset inventory, Project Management Methodology, documentation/ procedures, change control, backup & disaster recovery plans & testing, risk assessments, business service level descriptions, physical & cyber security, physical & logical access, data centers).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and implement comprehensive project plans and schedules for strategic initiatives. Oversee project execution, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards. Provide guidance and support to cross-functional teams, ensuring effective communication and collaboration. Conduct regular project status reviews and provide updates to senior management and stakeholders. Ensure compliance with PMO standards, and audit/compliance/SOX practices. Manage project risks, issues, and changes, implementing effective mitigation strategies. Facilitate training and development for project teams, promoting continuous improvement and best practices. Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success and alignment with business objectives. Responsibilities include managing teams in the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design (including scenario design, flow mapping), prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, includes benefits management, stakeholder management and program governance for the entire life cycle of the program. Performs duties as lead IT auditor. Responsible for IT group compliance with audit requirements. Accountable for complete audit submissions and maintaining the IT SOP Standard Operating Procedures and/or Business Continuity and/or Disaster Recovery Plan.

 

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

Program/Portfolio Management: 10+ years of experience in managing enterprise-level projects and programs. Project Experience: Proven track record of managing strategic initiatives (e.g. FSM, ERP, CRM, Contact Center projects). Team Leadership: Experience in managing teams and IT projects using Waterfall, Agile Scrum, and hybrid methodologies. Communication and Leadership: Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills. Technical Proficiency: Proficiency with project management and compliance tools (e.g., Jira, SmartSheet, Azure DevOps, SharePoint). Advanced skills in Word, PowerPoint, Visio, and ticketing systems such as Track-It and HP Service Management. Advanced MS Excel experience (file merging, pivot tables, formulas, macros). Adaptability: Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Project Management Expertise: Deep understanding of project management and the ability to communicate project status to technical, business, and executive teams. Delivery and Compliance: Proven track record in managing IT projects and programs, ensuring delivery on scope, budget, and time. Deep experience with IT audit/compliance, SOX, and IT control assessments. Issue Resolution: Ability to drive issue resolution and present to C-Level executives. Steering Committee Management: Manages Information Technology Projects, ensuring information (e.g., deliverables, risks, issues, resource management, vendor management) passes to and from the Steering Committee. Customer Focus: Provides leadership in best practices of project and program management and ensures that project delivery is consistent with customer expectations. Cost Management: Oversees project costs, ensures they are well managed, monitors cost/timeline performance for assigned projects, and ensures that funding/billing activities are performed efficiently and timely.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING:

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, Information Security, Project Management or related field, or equivalent education and experience. Certification(s) in Project Management and/or IT Compliance preferred, such as: PMI PMP Certification Scrum Master Certification (CSM), SAFe Certification ITIL Certification. Six Sigma Training & Certification Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) Certified Compliance Analyst (CCA) Certified Risk and Compliance Management Professional (CRCMP) Governance, Risk & Compliance Professional (GRCP)

PRIMARY LOCATION: Stuart, Florida

GENERAL OFFICE REQUIREMENTS:

This position will operate Monday-Friday during normal business hours of 8:00/8:30 A.M. – 5:00/5:30 P.M. Travel requirements for this position are less than 5% of the time.
