Senior IT Project Manager
Location: Des Moines, IA (Onsite Required)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior IT Project Manager to lead and oversee critical projects within our organization. This role requires a seasoned professional with a strong background in insurance or financial services, extensive experience in Jira or similar project management tools, and the ability to manage projects in both Agile and Waterfall environments. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced setting, works effectively with minimal direction, and collaborates seamlessly with cross-functional teams to drive project success.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring alignment with business objectives, timelines, and budgets.Utilize Jira or other project management tools to track progress, manage sprints, and report on project status.Coordinate and communicate effectively with stakeholders, including technical teams, business leaders, and external vendors.Apply Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid methodologies as appropriate to deliver high-quality solutions.Identify risks, develop mitigation strategies, and proactively address project roadblocks.Ensure project documentation, reporting, and governance align with industry best practices.Foster collaboration across teams, driving accountability and results with minimal supervision.

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience in IT project management, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.Proficiency with Jira or similar project management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps)Strong understanding of Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid methodologies.Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with minimal oversight.Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.Ability to work onsite in Des Moines, IA as required.

Preferred Qualifications:
