Description:-    About the Opportunity
Client develops advanced systems for delivering video and display advertising solutions across all screens, such as TV, desktop, and mobile. The Sr. Java Data Engineer designs and develops systems leveraging state-of-the-art technologies and tools data processing, ETL, and management of big data. 
Job Responsibilities - 
• Designs and develops systems using Java, Linux, Windows and Open Source tools
• Presents and defends proposed designs and solutions
• Works with Product Managers to identify and scope requirements
• Identifies opportunities to improve existing code
• Discovers creative, innovative and cost effective solutions
• Assists and mentors Jr. Engineers
• Works with Product Support to diagnose and fix production issues


Minimum Qualifications 
• Strong Java/JEE/Linux developer, multifaceted and skilled with multiple languages and tools
• Experienced developing with open source, e.g.,: JPA/SQL/NoSQL, multi-threading, scripting, ETL and workflow
• Excellent diagnostician, thrives when solving production issues
• Experienced and enthusiastic Agile developer
• Excellent communication skills

Preferred Qualifications 
• B.S. in Computer Science or other technical field
• Minimum 5 years’ experience developing with Java/JEE under Linux
