Job Description:
Ensure successful delivery of an participate in all phases of development for existing and new systems, from planning, requirements gathering and design development, testing, deployment and ongoing maintenance.
Develop technical design specifications that conform to defined architectures for desired application enhancements.
Contribute to data model design and implementation.
Identify and resolve software issues.
Work closely with other members of the team including project managers, developers, systems and database experts.
Required Skills:
8+ Years REQUIRED of Java/J2EE development.
Must have experience in all layers of development, Performance tuning in Oracle and UNIX.
BS in Computer Science or related technical discipline.
Experience with Object Oriented Design and Analysis.
Ability to work alone and translate business requirements analysis into technical design specifications and development, and work comfortably in any layer of an application (GUI, Business Objects,Domain/Database).
Ability to handle multiple projects.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Java, SOAP, REST, SQL, JavaScript, Oracle, UNIX, Windows
Familiar with Spring, Hibernate
Desired Skills:
Perl, Python and C a plus
Apache, Tomcat, Weblogic, Websphere
Source Code control systems like SVN/GIT
