SPA has an immediate need for a Senior Labor Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and compliance of timesheets for the payroll department. You will process and reconcile timesheets and all timesheet corrections in accordance with federal regulations, company policies, and contract requirements.
Responsibilities Process, review, and verify timesheets for employees.Reconcile discrepancies between timesheets and labor distribution systems.Work with employees to ensure all timesheet issues are resolved and processed.Collaborate with project managers and department heads to resolve timesheet-related issues.Prepare and submit timesheet reports for internal and government audits.Respond to employee inquiries regarding timesheet submission and discrepancies.Analyze pay type discrepancies and resolve.Reconcile Employee Data between Payroll System/Timesheets and Labor for all EmployeeReconcile Leave between Timesheets and LaborReport on all labor/timesheet requests for CAO/CFO.Maintain accurate records and documentation related to timesheet processing and reconciliation.Participate in periodic audits and ensure the timely resolution of any audit findings.Maintain knowledge of evolving regulations and best practices related to government contract labor processing.Ensure compliance with government regulations, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Contract Audit Agency (DCAA) standards. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).At least 5 years of experience in timesheet processing and payroll in the government contracting environment.Knowledge of government contract regulations, including FAR, DCAA, and other relevant compliance requirements.Strong proficiency with timesheet management systems and Microsoft Excel.Attention to detail and ability to work with large volumes of data.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to troubleshoot and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
