We are seeking an experienced Senior Lead, Enterprise Operations to join our Operations team and optimize financial systems, processes, and reporting within a project-driven, professional services environment. This role bridges finance, operations, and the business, leveraging ERP systems, data flows, and business intelligence tools to deliver scalable solutions that enhance decision-making and operational efficiency. The ideal candidate has deep experience in financial systems management, project-based accounting, and professional services operations, thriving in dynamic and fast-paced settings.

Financial Systems & Integrations
Manage, maintain, and enhance ERP systems (NetSuite) tailored to professional services needs, ensuring integrity, security, and compliance. Lead system upgrades, customizations, and process optimizations to support project-driven workflows. Collaborate with the business and external vendors to ensure various systems align with ERP setup, business needs and industry best practices. Utilize APIs to streamline data flows and enable real-time reporting across systemsReporting & Analytics
Partner with operations leaders, project managers and the business to understand operational finance reporting requirements for projects, KPIs, and resource management. Design and implement processes to support project accounting, including revenue recognition, and project profitability. Develop reporting requirements for Power BI dashboards to monitor KPIs, track project performance, and provide actionable insights to leadership on profitability, and operational efficiency. Streamline and automate workflows for budgeting, AP, and financial reporting to improve efficiency and accuracy. Leverage data flows and warehousing to ensure accurate and consistent reporting across the organization.Cross-Functional Collaboration
Partner with operations, project management, and finance teams to align financial processes with project lifecycles and business goals. Act as a liaison between finance and operations to address project-specific challenges, including resource planning and margin optimization. Conduct regular meetings with project managers and operations leaders to gather feedback and address system needs. Collaborate with leaders and project managers within the business Work closely with leadership to identify opportunities for cost savings, revenue growth, and process improvement.Process Optimization & Knowledge Sharing
Document workflows, processes, integration points and bespoke system customizations to ensure knowledge continuity. Train team members and stakeholders on financial systems, data analytics, and reporting best practices. Continuously seek feedback, refine processes and analyze system usage data to identify opportunities for refinement.
Qualifications:
Education & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in operations, financial systems management, or operational finance within a project-driven or professional services environment.Technical Skills:
Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite) and business intelligence tools (Power BI). Strong understanding of data flows, data warehousing, and KPI development for professional services with keen attention to detail. Expertise in project-based accounting, including revenue recognition, margin analysis, and time tracking. Experience in financial transformation initiatives, including system implementations and process redesign. Familiarity with the operational nuances of professional services firms, including project lifecycles, resource management, and client billing structures. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with a focus on scalability and measurable results. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to engage with leaders across finance, operations, and project teams. Proven ability to drive cross-functional collaboration and build consensus in a matrixed organization. Adaptability to manage competing priorities and drive cross-functional collaboration in a dynamic environment. Accounting experience is essential to success. Familiarity with project management tools. Proactive, results-oriented mindset with a commitment to operational excellence.
