This role is responsible for managing and maintaining the complete SAP Enterprise Systems technical stack. In addition to SAP Enterprise applications, this individual is responsible for working with teams that develop and support the various systems based on SAP’s ABAP, HANA and/or Java products.  **Your Impact** + Monitor performance of SAP Basis systems using SAP Solution Manager and 3rd-party tools. + Ensure stability of HANA databases using SAP HANA Cockpit, HANA Studio, and other tools. + Optimize poorly executing SQL statements in collaboration with various teams. + Define, test, and document backup, recovery, High Availability, and Disaster Recovery processes. + Install, upgrade, and patch HANA, SAP ABAP, and Java systems with technical teams. + Analyze performance issues using SQL and tracing tools; recommend system improvements. + Review and adjust ABAP/Java/HANA parameters for performance, connectivity, and security. + Utilize AWS tools to troubleshoot SAP issues, including managing SAP licensing and audits. + Stay updated on SAP's technology roadmap, and evaluate architectural improvements. + Mentor junior team members, provide Level 3 support, and work closely with external partners. **Qualifications** + Bachelor's degree with typically 10 years of relevant experience OR Master's degree with typically 8 years of relevant experience OR typically 14 years of relevant experience without degree. + Minimum 4 years of hands on experience in a multi-database HANA environment.   + Minimum 6 years of hands on experience in large SAP Basis environments supporting ABAP and Java stacks for ERP, S/4 HANA, Supply Chain, Fiori, Warehousing, BW, SLT, Business Objects, Solution Manager, or other SAP products.  + Experience in Windows and Linux OS environments.  + Experience with cloud-based implementations (AWS, Azure, etc.).   + Strong written and verbal communication skills.  + HANA and/or cloud certifications are a plus.  + Experience with either Microsoft SQL Server or Sybase database technology.  **Workplace Location** + **Location:** Fully Remote- This position is open to candidates who reside within the continental US + **Return to Work Designation:** Fully Remote \#LI-CP1 \#LI-REMOTE **Relocation** + No relocation provided **Base Compensation** $138,217.00 - $190,048.10 USD Most new hires fall within this range and have the opportunity to earn more over time. Initial placement within the salary range, however, is based on an individual's relevant knowledge, skills and experience for the position.
