Position Summary:
The Sr. Learning & Development Specialist supports partners and employees across the organization in their learning and development goals. Key focus areas of this role include curriculum development, expansion of our learning management system to support other teams and divisions, and refinement of our current LMS processes to improve end user experience.

Instructional Design: Collaborate with SMEs and partners to identify training needs and define learning objectives Develop and design courses and track using PowerPoint, Brainshark, Articulate360 Write script and audio content for virtual trainings Evaluate and refine existing courses and tracks based on feedback and effectiveness LMS Administration Implement new features and tools within the LMS (UKG Learning) for identified growth opportunities Audit current processes used in UKG Learning and identify areas for improvement Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for data management Regularly review and update LMS records to maintain data integrity Provide data analysis support as needed Partner with HRIS team to troubleshoot and resolve issues End User Support Train employees, facilitators, and partners in using the LMS effectively for their roles Build reports as needed to support partners and employees in reaching their L&D goals and objectives Upload and organize partner training content within the LMS Create and update library of tip sheets and resources to grow employee self-service options for LMS Partner with HR Service Desk to improve end user experience and first-line issues Provide technical support to users experiencing LMS-related issues
Job Pay & Perks:
Typical pay range: $75,225 - $101,775 salary This is a hybrid-based role that must be based in the Twin Cities 7 County Metropolitan Area, and must be on-site as business needs dictate. About You:
Required Knowledge & Skills:
Instructional Design: Proven ability to create training programs through identifying needs, defining objectives, and developing content and assessments. Data Analysis: Skills in providing data analysis support, tracking key metrics, and generating reports. Technical Communication: Comfortable and efficient with conveying information on complex topics clearly and concisely to audiences with a wide range of experience in subject matter. L&D Technologies: Adept with a variety of multimedia authoring, publishing, and conferencing software with specific preference given to Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, Brainshark, Screencast-O-Matic, ZOOM, and Articulate360. Collaborative: Experience partnering with subject matter experts to create effective and compelling training materials. Project Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, to ensure projects are correctly prioritized, on time, and produce a high quality end product. LMS Administration: Proficiency in implementing new features, auditing processes, developing SOPs, and maintaining data integrity.
Prior Experience & Education:
Administrative experience within a learning management system (UKG Learning preferred) is required including, but not limited to creating reports, building course and curriculum structure, managing notifications and communications, and creating automated rules & assignment processes Experience in course design, development, implementation, and assessment is required Experience in creating materials for adult learners and applying adult learning principles is preferred 1-2 years of project management experience preferred with demonstrated skills in planning and forecasting, collaborating with partners, time management, and adaptability Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in training and work experience
