We need YOU!** **Where the chemistry happens...** We are seeking a professional like you to review and evaluate the overlap between federal, state, and local leave entitlements for Management Represented and Union employees (U.S. and Canada). This includes, but is not limited to, resolving problems through consultation, analysis and recommended actions throughout the leave, return-to-work and accommodations. In this role, you will be required to exercise discretion, independent judgment and possess expert knowledge of related laws, regulations, policies, rules and procedures. You will also recommend new methods and tools for enhancing the leave services. **As a Sr. Leave of Absence Analyst, you create chemistry by...** + Applying your strong analytical skills to audit data sets to determine accuracy of current state, data anomalies, business trends that support predictive analytics. + Collaborating with HR, business leaders and colleagues at all levels of the organization on federal and state disability leave laws. + Evaluating leave requests and recommending appropriate action. + Leveraging your proficiency with MS Office and computer maintenance management systems (e.g., SAP), to prepare flow charts, pivot tables, and leave metrics for presentation. + Successfully engaging across the business, you will be required to deliver proactive decision-making ability and problem-solving skills. + Ensuring prompt and timely service for all customers. + Maintaining a high level of confidentiality. + Demonstrating strong change agility skills to excel in a high matrixed organization. **If you...** + Have BS/BA Degree with a minimum of 1-2 years of leave of absence experience, multi-state preferred. + Have strong technical and analytical skills. + Have advanced understanding of Excel, and solid understanding of PowerPoint and other Microsoft applications. + Are self-motivated with excellent organizational, time management, written and verbal communication skills. + Possess leadership skills with focus on relationship building. **Create your own chemistry with you@BASF** At BASF, you will have the chance to do meaningful work towards building a more sustainable future.
