Sr. Legal Process Specialist

Description
As the Sr. Legal Process Specialist, you will work with the Assistant Keeper of Records in facilitating all aspects of subpoena response with a focus on moderately complex and escalated issues. You will be well versed in department processes, the bank systems necessary to respond to all subpoena types, as well as bank records. With this knowledge, you will be able to train new staff as well as provide regular guidance to existing staff.
Primary responsibilities include
+ Handle subpoenas and escalations of medium complexity.
+ Monitor and direct the flow of cases.
+ Provide training and coach junior staff.
+ Executing a range of tasks in support of our legal processing to ensure compliance.
Qualifications, Education, Certifications and/or Other Professional Credentials
+ Advanced understanding of the legal, regulatory and risk/compliance environment as they pertain to legal processing
+ Requires strong level of familiarity with bank’s structure, systems, and legal terminology
+ Meticulously detailed oriented with the ability to manage competing priorities, establish and meet deadlines
+ Advanced professional interpersonal, written, verbal skills
+ A strict adherence to handling confidential information sensitively and discreetly
+ Proficiency with MS-365 including the ability to properly create and format documents.
+ Professional self-starter who can work independently as well as in a team environment supporting colleagues through coaching and training.
+ Minimum of 3+ years financial services industry experience required
+ 2+ years’ experience working in a legal processing environment
Hours & Work Schedule
+ Hours per Week: 40
+ Work Schedule: : Monday - Friday 8:30 AM - 5:00
