Sr. LVN – Pediatrics, Calabasas
Description

In this role, you will provide direct patient care for a diverse patient population. You will work with clinic management, administration, faculty physicians, fellows, residents, medical students, and other clinical staff to include LVN’s and MA’s and ancillary personnel in providing total patient care, maintaining high standards of care and recognizing normal and abnormal signs and symptoms of life threatening emergencies. You will also coordinate and prioritize tasks and protocols established by the department.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Administer immunotherapy injections, performing skin prick tests, and other procedures for allergy patients Record and monitor patient vitals and medical history Conduct venipuncture and blood draws with precision Perform EKGs Administer tests and medications (including
PO, IM, SQ, PR, Intradermal, Topical, Inhalants, Eye drops, and Ear drops) Collect and manage patient specimens Maintain clean and well-stocked patient rooms Ability to effectively elicit salient clinical information such as presenting complaints from patients and referring professional, and make appropriate assignments based on established guidelines. Skill in listening perceptively, conveying awareness and responding to patients and parents with health concerns using tact and discretion.

Salary range: $34.61-$45.66/ Hourly
