Description Under general supervision, the incumbent provides age specific nursing care in the Multi-specialty clinic. Major functions are to collect health data, history information, medication reconciliation, take vital signs, start IV and obtain venous blood samples, process medication prescriptions, administer medications and injections, prepare and assist procedures, process instrument for sterilization. And assist as assigned with patient education on medication initiation and follow up, endoscopic procedures preparation and audio-visual instructions, Document patient information accurately and in accordance with departmental and institutional guidelines. Maintain a good patient flow through the clinic. Provide continuity of care to assigned clinic/s. Ability to perform effectively under conditions of fluctuation workload and/or frequent interruption. Ability to respond and assist appropriately in emergency situations.
