Job Description A Fortune 500 company is looking for a Sr. Mainframe Engineer to be responsible for the development and maintenance of the company's Mainframe applications. The development and maintenance activity predominantly uses COBOL, IMS, and DB2. This position will work with customers to define new business solutions, troubleshoot reported issues and provide administrative support; primarily working on production support and technical depth resolution, as they will be improving performance of the system and delivering support/enhancement work. Skills and Requirements 10+ years of experience with Mainframe Engineering. 5+ years of experience of mainframe support: COBOL, DB2, JCL, IMS Strong experience in communicating to team members and key stakeholders. Bachelor's Degree in Information Systems, Computer Science or related field desired.
