Why you want to manage our Agile & LPM Delivery Team:

You will be involved through the entire software development lifecycle of our products. The Agile and LPM team is a cross-functional group that supports our product, engineering, and quality teams to deliver innovative, high-quality software to our customers.  

The Manager of the Agile & LPM Delivery group is responsible for managing a team of delivery managers who support strategic programs, critical organizational activities, and taskforce initiatives across the Product, Engineering and Quality groups. This role will interface with senior and executive-level leadership. 

 

How you'll make a difference:

Establish and maintain project management methodologies, best practices, and standards across the IT department. Implement and maintain project prioritization frameworks to optimize resource utilization and maximize business value. Establish and continuously improve project management processes, ensuring they align with industry best practices and organizational requirements. Build and grow a team of Scrum Masters and Delivery Managers to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of our software to our customers. Find opportunities for improving software delivery processes utilizing our standard Kaizen processes and tools. Develop and implement PMO strategies aligned with organizational goals and IT objectives. Develop and refine program strategies, effectively leading and motivating teams. Develop consolidated and consistent analytic reporting to create a better understanding of our portfolio of initiatives for senior leadership.  Conduct Lean Portfolio Management (LPM) reviews by providing status information, metrics and risks along with recommendations to remediate risks and improve metrics. Act as liaison with tech ops, finance, sales and professional services as it relates to our portfolio of initiatives. Ensure alignment between our initiatives and the strategic plan. Implement and enforce LPM processes. Experience leading teams from Scrum to SAFe and implementing best practices. Foster collaboration with internal and external partners to optimize resource allocation and project success. Regularly communicate with senior managers, business leaders, and other stakeholders to support key business initiatives. Develop, implement, and oversee KPI reporting for a program portfolio, ensuring clear visibility of milestones and project performance.

What you bring to the table:

Minimum Required Education and Experience:

Bachelor's Degree in business or equivalent degree/experience. MBA is a plus. Experience managing a team of 6 or more technology professionals and people managers. 5+ years of program or project management experience  Experience with JIRA, Aha or similar Agile Project Management tools. Knowledge of BI tools such as PowerBI is a plus. 7+ years’ experience in an Enterprise Software organization (SaaS preferred). Demonstrated ability interacting with Agile Development teams. Knowledge of Agile, Scrum, Kanban and SAFe or similar framework.   Lean Portfolio Management experience. 2+ years of driving process improvements experience Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements Experience owning program strategy, end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership PMP, CAPM or PgMP certification is a plus

Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

Strong management skills to build and grow a team of software Delivery managers with Scrum Master, Release Train and Project Management skills. Excellent presentation skills for a variety of stakeholders including senior leadership. Strong analytical abilities in visualizing, capturing information, and analyzing data to manage risk and solve complex problems. Ability to manage cross-functional resource plans to ensure alignment with budgetary requirements, business goals and strategic plans. Ability to balance conflicting resource demands and internal pressures with focus towards business priorities. Strong communication skills with the ability to tailor communication to senior leaders, key stakeholders, and teams.  Internal and external negotiation experience with the ability to work across team boundaries to build alignment. Ability to understand financial and P&L reports. Capable of managing a portfolio with multiple initiatives and products. Positive attitude and flexibility when faced with fast-paced, complex challenges. Self-motivated, intellectually curious and a desire for continuous learning. Ability to work with and protect confidential information required. Designing and implementing standard processes to improve the efficiency of software delivery.
