Job Description
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
You will be responsible for the effective delivery of Building Operations Management at the Lennox campus. You will take the lead in proactively providing and successfully delivering a secure, clean, safe, and comfortable environment for all users of our facilities. You will be responsible for supervising the campus within the allocated budget and managing the campus utilities budget. You will apply best practice to improve efficiency by reducing operating costs while increasing productivity.
General Management (including people management)
Work across the business to support all aspects of Operational service delivery.Produce clear and concise project plans. Produce and manage annual operating budgets. Attend daily and weekly venue operations meetings to ensure all works are clearly communicated across the team.Manage the facility supervisor utilizing effective coaching and line management skills effectively, completing annual and mid-year performance reviews along with monthly documented one to one meeting.Participate in periodic audit compliance across our business. Review and keep the campus plan and arrangements up to date, fit for purpose and regularly tested.Represent the campus at both internal and external promotional events and client lunches/tastings where required. Where appropriate ensure client event de-brief meetings occur with fully documented outcomes and agreed actions.Be on call as part of the emergency call out procedureRespond to any requests from your line manager or CEO, required to fulfil the need of the Department or business.Building Management
Provide key support for all building works projects. Complete a weekly audit of the building alongside the facilities supervisor, to produce a list of fabric and faults with agreed action plan. Complete a weekly cleaning audit with the soft services managers, to produce a follow up plan of agreed actions. Work in conjunction with the Operations Executive, Operational Managers and service partners provider in coordinating event set ups and scheduling of all teams and services required for event delivery including contract management Attend and note all agreed action points from service partner meetings. Manage all suppliers against contractual KPIs and SLAs relating to Facilities Management, and Building Operations Ensure that the highest levels of service delivery and customer experience are provided and to constantly seek to improve standardsBusiness Unit Management
Produce an annual business unit plan in line with agreed key priorities Support the Operations Director and contribute as required in the Campus annual business planning processProduce planned annual Capital expenditure requests with supporting robust business casesProduce monthly activity and variance reports Qualifications
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
Minimum ten years of Building Management experienceExperience in events and venue management Excellent people management and client liaison skills Skill and aptitude to see the big picture, but with an eye for detail, to constantly challenge ways of working and to provide the highest level of serviceHigh attention to detail with excellent organizational skills with the ability to multi-task Qualified First Aider Consistent focus on operational detail Excellent oral and written communication skills Ability to provide innovative, creative and pragmatic solutionsAbility to manage challenges with a positive and “can-do” approach. Microsoft Project Management skills
