Sr. Manager, Business Transformation (Selution)
**Overview** MedAlliance/Selution, in partnership with Cordis, specializes in the development of ground-breaking technology and commercialization of advanced drug device combination products for the treatment of coronary and peripheral artery disease. The Selution Vital Few (VF) Program Leader is responsible for the overall program strategy, execution, and communication of Cordis’s key value driver: the Selution drug eluting balloon. Selution is the world’s first sirolimus drug eluting balloon that has unlocked the secret to achieving sustained drug uptake in the vessel wall. Selution’s Cell Adherent Technology (CAT) has the potential to transform cardiovascular care by providing physicians with a key option to treat coronary and peripheral stenosis without the use of stents (“leave no metal behind”). Selution is a key strategic bet and the top enterprise investment for Cordis. The Selution program is responsible for global commercialization, operations scale-up, and access expansion for the Selution coronary and peripheral product lines. The VF Program Leader reports into Selution’s General Manager and works closely with the leaders of R&D, Quality, Clinical, Regulatory, Operations, Finance, and Marketing teams to ensure execution of the overall program strategy. The role is highly visible, presents weekly to the Cordis Executive Leadership Team (ELT), and leads in-person workshops to develop key program strategies. The Selution VF Program Leader role is part of the SPARK program and is an 18-month rotation. It is a remote position that requires 50% US travel (less if the leader is located in Irvine, CA). **Responsibilities** **Duties and Responsibilities:** + Development and management of Selution’s 5-year strategic plan for global commercialization, clinical evidence generation, US approvals, and operations scale-up. + Identification and pro-active management of enterprise value-creation drivers and risks. + Communication of program status at weekly Vital Few report outs to the Cordis Executive Leadership Team (ELT). + Identification and execution of workshops designed to address key strategic initiatives or gaps. + Implementation of “daily-management” for key program-level, leading indicators. + Involvement, oversight, and leadership of key activities for Selution integration into the Cordis chassis. + Partner with the General Manager to develop and execute communication plans to maintain engagement with direct Selution teammates and those in the broader Cordis organization. + Develop rapport and trust with Selution R&D, Operations, Quality, Finance, Clinical, Regulatory, and Marketing leaders to gain the ability to collaborate and influence their functional plans. + Lead key initiatives / projects that “fit in-between” traditional functional lines. **Qualifications** + Depth of experience and comfort in executive engagement, ideally as part of M&A, up to and including with Board members + Large scale, end-to-end program management skills including scoping, execution and tracking, risk identification and management, and change management + Interpersonal skills capable of developing strong relationships with teammates ranging from line operators to senior leaders + Comfortable with ambiguity and taking initiative working in the seams between clear functional or role-based ownership + Ability to create and gain buy-in for actions and value creation, and see through to realization + Provide direction and scope guardrails to workstream leaders who are not direct reports + Strong financial and strategic skills + Ability to work across regions, divisions, and functions to influence change across the organization + Ability to resolve cross-team conflict + Exceptional teaming & collaboration both internally & externally. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills + Experience with acquisition, Private Equity ownership, and/or M&A a plus + Experience in Medical Device / Clinical Trials a plus **Education / Certifications:** + BS required, MBA or advanced degree desired + Strong business and/or technical education (relevant examples include operations, engineering, program management, finance, medical, clinical, consulting) + Years of experience: 8-10+ Medical Device, Healthcare, or Clinical Study experience a plus \#LI-JB1 Equal Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities Cordis is proud to be an equal opportunity employer and is committed to providing equal opportunity for all teammates and applicants.
