This role will support the H&V Special Projects Team as a clinical subject matter expert for a variety of process improvement projects. This person will provide operational support analyzing and optimizing workflows across the inpatient setting, various procedural and imaging areas, and outpatient clinics in Heart and Vascular. This role will partner with relevant stakeholders to document workflows, identify areas of opportunity and tests of change, choose appropriate metrics, develop tracking for these metrics, and monitor progress with goals of improving patient care and experience, employee engagement and reducing cost.

Work as part of a team on a variety of projects across the H&V team. The work will be varied and collaborative. The ability to independently manage and move projects forward is essential. The job will require the incumbent to ask the right questions, dive into the problem, identify solutions, help implement change with the help of team and establish and assist with monitoring of metrics.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required. Master's degree in nursing, business administration, health care administration or related field preferred. 3 – 5 years of healthcare experience with progressive leadership or project management experience. Must have a valid, active unencumbered Georgia Nursing license.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: 1-10 lbs 0-33% of the work day (occasionally), negligible 34-66% of the workday (frequently), negligible 67-100% of the workday (constantly). Lifting 10 lbs max, carrying of small articles such as dockets, ledgers, files, small tools, occasional standing & walking, frequent sitting, close eye work (computers, typing, reading, writing), Physical demands may vary depending on assigned work area and work tasks.
