Our Data Accuracy Response Team is tasked with ensuring our data is regulated, accurate, and reliable on a day to day basis. This includes managing urgent escalations, triaging, executing, and monitoring requested changes in data, and observing trends to guide system improvements. The Sr. Manager, Data Governance Sales Operations leads the front line in ensuring that these goals come to fruition. This position reports to the Director, Sales Operations for Data Integrity and Policy and will have a high degree of interaction with the Business Operations, Sales, Support, and IT functions across Palo Alto Networks.

Your Impact

Manage the Service Desk Team and ticket queue responsible for account, territory, and sales crediting data requests in SFDCServe as the primary escalation point for data discrepancies, service requests, and any other general inquiriesFunction as a player coach, working alongside the team for complex or highly technical requests to ensure accuracy and efficiency and reduce backlogsMonitor and track key team metrics to build and maintain SLA standards and policiesAdminister monthly audits and reports to ensure data accuracy and completenessWork cross functionally with the Data Integrity and Policy team to drive process improvements Perform weekly updates and provide guidance on team deliverables to identify process/policy gapsMaintain a training and onboarding program with documentation for incoming headcountCoordinate with different stakeholders to perform ad-hoc investigations for data insights/update/reportsAssist in organizing and implementing new policies driven by the Go-To-Market team in SFDCAssist in other Data Process Initiatives such as quarterly account data refresh and annual fiscal year sales transitionMay be required to perform user acceptance testing or other activities around account management

Your Experience

Prior experience with data stewardship, governance, hygiene, and organization Prior experience in queue management, prioritization, and escalation resolution Comfortable translating between technical and non technical audiencesComfortable working with large data sets, evaluating quality and accuracy, and systemically correcting dataMotivated to drive key initiatives in data integrityInterest in coaching, training, and team buildingDetail oriented; Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneouslyAbility to pick up new tools, platforms, and business processes. Comfortable with starting from scratch and being able to design and/or document processesOrganized, proactive individual that can operate independently in solving complex problems with little guidanceSFDC knowledge is a mustServiceNow and queue management experience  is preferredDataloader, workbench, or similar technical tool experience is preferred but not requiredSQL, SAP, and/or Tableau knowledge is preferred but not required

The compensation offered for this position will depend on qualifications, experience, and work location. For candidates who receive an offer at the posted level, the starting base salary (for non-sales roles) or base salary + commission target (for sales/commissioned roles) is expected to be between $148,200/yr to $239,800/yr. The offered compensation may also include restricted stock units and a bonus. A description of our employee benefits may be found here.
