ROLE SUMMARY
Global Commercial Analytics (GCA) harnesses the power of data to drive robust analytical insights develop solutions that enable commercial business units at scale. With colleagues across the globe, GCAs rigorous analytical expertise is depended on as the compass and decision support for the commercial division. The Dynamic Targeting and Customer Facing Colleagues (CFC) AI Solution Enablement Team brings together a cross-functional team of data scientists and engineers who come from diverse backgrounds and experience to deliver solutions at scale. As a team, we aim to turn enable our CFC with the tools that enable them to help bring the right therapies to save patients lives.
The Senior Manager, Data Science, Dynamic Targeting and Customer Facing Colleagues (CFC) AI Solution Enablement is responsible for delivering data science solutions globally of the highest impact. As a strategic partner to the US Commercial teams, this person will develop and implement models which integrate into end-to-end solutions and data-science products that drive brands strategic priorities. This will include driving the execution and interpretation of AI/ML models, framing problems, and shaping solutions. Also, this person will help shape solution strategy and tactics by interfacing closely with Business Aligned data scientists and brand teams, and interface closely with omnichannel operations to drive execution.
This role is dynamic, fast-paced, highly collaborative, and covers a broad range of strategic topics that are critical to our business. ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Role definition and key accountabilities include, but are not limited to:
Solution Delivery and Management
Utilize experience of end-to-end solution development to design and architect AI/ML and GenAI pipelines.
Act as a strategic partner to frame, investigate, translate complex AI solutions that answer key business questions related to the identification and evaluation of Commercial and brand strategies and tactics.
Position solutions to enable business value and with a user centric focus
Select, develop, and explain machine learning models that drive business strategy
Utilize data-driven insights to identify new opportunities for solution development and optimize existing solutions to support an evolving commercial strategy
Apply statistical methods to assess impact of solutions on business outcomes.
Technical Delivery
Develop and integrate models into platforms for solution delivery
Support architecture conversations to design next gen solutions for CFC
Work with Legal/Compliance to ensure mitigations are integrated into pipelines
Collaborate, Partnership, and Mentorship
Develop relationships with key partners to deliver end to end solutions.
Drive alignment with partners and stakeholders by brining data science expertise.
Mentor and develop junior data scientists, fostering a culture of continuous learning and innovation.

Technical Skills
3-5 years of experience with commercial life science data with application to commercial lifecycle
3+ years of experience with machine learning technology, such as: big data stack, Python, R, and visualization techniques
Experience in understanding brand content, strategy, and tactics
1-2 years of experience with CI/CD pipelines
1-2 years experience of cloud deployment (AWS preferred)
Understands quantitative and qualitative research methodologies to measure impact
Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree required, ideally in quantitative discipline (e.g. engineering or data science)
3+ years’ experience in business analytics or data science function
3-5+ years of work experience
Proven track record of leveraging data science to address strategic business challenges.
Experience using data science models to solve problems in a business environment setting
Experience leading cross-functional projects and managing stakeholder relationships at senior levels.
Ability to partner with cross-functional teams (Commercial, Insights, Operations) to execute brand tactics
Proven ability to connect, integrate and synthesize analysis and data into a meaningful ‘so what’ to drive concrete strategic recommendations for brand tactics. Capable of describing relevant caveats in data or in a model and how they relate to business question
Ability to be flexible, prioritize multiple demands and deal with ambiguity
Fluent in English (written and spoken)
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Advanced degree preferred in data science, quantitative field, engineering, or other relevant field
2+ years experience in Life Science Industry
Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $120,800.00 to $201,400.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
