Enterprise Technology is comprised of many Domains/BU’s covering a broad range of services and activities, including Architecture & Engineering, Enterprise Infrastructure, Corporate Technology, Data Architecture, Cybersecurity, Contact Center Technology, AI Innovation and Advanced Process Solutions.
This Senior Manager role is a member of the ET Finance Decision Support Team and will be responsible for supporting an Enterprise Technology domain by delivering strategic insights & analysis to measure and evaluate the financial performance, enhancing business processes, and providing finance and strategic decision support. The role will also be responsible for providing technology vendor management oversight and support a portfolio of Technology initiatives. The candidate will be a key contributor to the development of executive presentations which will be used across multiple forums. This role will provide an opportunity to work across the company and partner with other finance teams across the firm. Success will require an analytic attitude, strong collaboration skills, comprehensive problem solving, independent thinking, and intellectual curiosity. You will also mentor and train junior analysts on the team through indirect management opportunities.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring:
A bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or equivalent; MBA or advanced degree preferred
8+ years of professional experience in Finance with a successful track record in financial modeling and analysis Financial services experience; experience in technology a plus Proven ability to combine a strategic business perspective with strong project management and analytical skills Excellent written and verbal communications skills, including the ability to “tell the story” and communicate effectively with Finance and business partners at varying levels of the organization Proficient in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint with experience in data visualization tools and the ability to teach others Confidence, business maturity, and presence to work independently and collaborate effectively across all levels of the organization, including effectively interacting with and influencing senior management Outstanding critical thinking, problem solving, decision-making, and analytical skills Strong interpersonal skills, proactively building consultative relationships across Finance and the business Ability to gain subject matter expertise in a short time period and apply institutional knowledge to develop quality analytics Proven ability, flexibility, and resourcefulness to manage several priorities in a deadline driven environment, having comfort with ambiguity Ability to take initiative and seek creative solutions that challenge conventional approach Proven leadership skills and ability to develop junior financial analyst talent Ability to work seamlessly in a highly matrixed environment, displaying the judgment to know when to involve other COEsThe Value You Deliver
Providing cost management, financial analysis and decision support to Senior IT Leaders to help achieve efficiency and value optimization goals. Handling expense and investment management, vendor optimization, model organization benefit analysis and IT activity costing. Supporting business and financial planning activities, budgeting, and internal customer requests. Partnering effectively within finance and IT across the enterprise and drive consensus where necessary. Assisting in development of executive presentations for senior management and develop story line in close coordination with business units; Create analytical views to support business financial options and decision making. Using tools and business knowledge to continuously provide insightful information, reporting and analytics that evolve with changes in the business Coach and develop direct and matrixed analysts.Certifications:
