Sr. Manager, Finance (Supply Chain)
Job Description

The Finance Sr. Manager is the finance lead for the Supply Chain functional leaders. This finance support includes: the long-range strategic planning, financial reporting, scenario modeling and identification of productivity opportunities . The core responsibilities of this individual will be to support and lead an integrated planning process, ensure a strong link between strategy and financials, and leverage technology to digitally enable these processes.

The successful candidate will have a strong desire to dive in and help understand the key drivers of financial results and an appetite to get involved in all aspects of financial planning, modeling, and reporting.    Building relationships with your team and being adaptable as different opportunities arise will be critical to this role and in establishing yourself within the broader organization.  Additionally, the ability to leverage new tools will continue to play a role in your success as the function and the company are rapidly transforming the toolsets/capabilities of the organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Act as CFO of Supply Chain expenses as Lead finance support for over $0.5B in Spend (DC Operations, SC Admin, Indirect Procurement & Risk Management)Manage periodic reporting of expenses and adherence to the annual plansBuild Annual operating plan for expensesAssist in functional long-range planning to ensure appropriate service levels for the organization and the prioritiesLead financial support for Network Optimization and Strategic InitiativesHelp develop capital investment business cases with leadersTrack and develop productivity metrics for each leaderHelp lead transformational efforts to technologically enable planning and analysis processes to ensure we are spending the maximum amount of time on decision support.Supervising team of 2 individual contributors and 2 dotted line international partners

Technical Qualifications:

Ability to model financials with a solid understanding of accounting principlesAbility to leverage technology to get at more information, more deeply, and more efficientlyAbility to translate desired outcomes into your underlying work product

Ability to define problems, collect data, perform analysis, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

Ability to present information and respond to questions from groups of senior management, department heads, and the Finance teams

Attention to quality, reconciliation, and accuracy are critical as the audience is often mgmt/exec level staff and the decisions being made are significant in scope/impact

Creativity and vision to recommend ways to evolve our infrastructure, process, and analytic capabilities

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting or related required (Advanced Degrees such as an MBA or cross specialization with a technical specialty (Comp Science, Mathematics, etc. is a plus); and

5+ years of experience in a Finance field

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

Will develop over time.  Initially collaborating/mentoring with others within the broader organization.
