The Senior Manager of Investor Relations will serve as a strategic partner to senior management, acting as a contact for investors, analysts, and other stakeholders. The ideal candidate should possess a strong understanding of financial analysis, market trends, and the automotive retail industry along with strong communication skills.
This position is part of a Hybrid work arrangement based in Raleigh, NC.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
· Assist in executing a proactive investor relations strategy and communication plan that aligns with the company’s business objectives and growth strategy.
· Serve as a point of contact for institutional investors, analysts, and other stakeholders.
· Prepare presentations for earnings calls and annual shareholder meetings to communicate the company’s financial results, business strategies, and market position.
· Collaborate with the finance and accounting teams to gather and analyze data, ensuring the accuracy of quarterly earnings releases, SEC filings, and other financial reports.
· Monitor and analyze market trends, peer performance, and industry developments to provide insights and recommendations to senior management.
· Prepare comprehensive quarterly and annual reports summarizing company performance, key metrics, and industry trends.
· Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential investors, equity research analysts, and financial media representatives.
· Organize and participate in investor conferences, roadshows, and meetings to increase company visibility and attract potential investors.
· Act as a liaison between investors and senior management, facilitating information flow and alignment.
· Track and analyze competitive landscape and market dynamics to identify potential impacts on the company’s investor perception.
· Stay informed of regulatory changes and industry developments to ensure compliance and effective communication.
· Collaborate with the corporate communications team to develop messaging strategies and materials, including press releases, investor presentations, fact sheets, and website content.
· Ensure consistency in messaging across all investor communications channels.
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or related field. MBA or CFA preferred.
· Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in investor relations, financial analysis, or corporate finance, preferably within the automotive retail or consumer industry.
· Proven track record of developing and maintaining investor relationships and executing successful investor relations strategies.
· Strong understanding of financial statements, valuation models, and key performance metrics.
· Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
· Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and senior leadership.
· High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
· Occasional travel required for investor meetings, conferences, and roadshows.
· The role requires a high degree of professionalism, confidentiality, and discretion.
