What this job involves - We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Project Team Lead to join our team at Jones Lang LaSalle (JLL). A team of Senior Project Managers and Project Managers will report to this position. While not directly responsible for the day to day design and execution of the projects, the Team Lead will be expected to lead and develop the project management team in providing superior client service and project experience and guidance. The position entails working with a diverse group of internal and external Stakeholders at all levels of the organization, and the successful candidate will require strong organizational, time management skills and judgment to assist and guide in the planning, prioritization, organization, and reporting on a diverse workload of multiple ongoing projects.
Job Responsibilities
Project Management Development and Execution
Manage adherence to financial plan, project objectives, key performance indicators, budgets, forecasts and schedules.Consult and provide guidance for projects through all project phases including planning, design, bidding, permitting, construction management and close-out.Consult on capital improvement programs with design and construction processes at multiple sites through local resources.Provide a Constructability analysis and site walk of early project due diligence design efforts; led by the Labs Planning team.Consult and approve ROMs, Engineering Assessments, and project schedules in the planning stages.Ensure planner handoff meetings occur.Conduct regular weekly meetings with Sr. PMs and PMs to review projects and ensure first bullet pointReview and report on cost savings, risk registers, and other typical PM documentsEnsure funding timelines are met, and understoodEngage in ongoing initiatives to enhance the PjM team and systemsServe as a point of escalation for any issues, risks or concernsDuring project execution, develop and maintain strong positive client (PA lab manager, REWS client, WSM) relationships and manage conflict resolution.Assemble, on board and manage required teams, including regional PDS variable project management teams.Ensure appropriate level of on-site supervision to ensure project performance criteria are being met.Perform additional duties as assignedTeam Development

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or Project Management preferred.Minimum of 10 years of progressively responsible experience in managing design and construction of multiple projects across a broad geography in a remote and virtual environment3+ years of progressively responsible experience in managing design and construction of multiple projects in labs as an owner’s representative at (a) commercial technology company(ies)Experience leading and running numerous projects simultaneouslyA strong working knowledge of accounting and financial reporting, budgeting, scheduling and process as they relate to corporate real estateAbility to lead individuals across a national team to deliver superior results in client serviceOther abilities

140,000.00 – 203,000.00 USD per yearThe total compensation range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on an applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data .
