Sr. Manager, New Homes Sales Operations

Our New Homes channel is focused on medium and large sized production homebuilders and bringing these cutting-edge technologies to new homebuyers, enhancing their living experience while promoting renewable energy and smart home technology. We are looking for a dynamic Senior Manager of Sales Operations to lead our sales operations and inside sales teams and drive our mission forward. The Senior Manager of Sales Operations will supervise the Manager of Homebuilder Elite, a team of representatives dedicated to communicating with new homebuyers about their solar and battery storage product offerings related to their new home. While the majority of the volume in this channel does not require an actual sale, we do require customer decisions that align with our product mix forecasts. Additionally, the Sr. Manager of Sales Operations will supervise the Sales Operations team, a function that supports the Homebuilder Elite team and the Account Managers. This role will lead onboarding and training of team members, communicating, developing and driving success metrics, coaching and enabling the team, preparing capacity and utilization plans, overseeing departmental costs, and ensuring the achievement of success metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs). You will work cross-functionally within Sunrun to drive business requirements and process improvement. The successful candidate will ensure we meet service level agreements (SLAs), maintain quality standards, and achieve productivity and sales targets. You will motivate your team to deliver specific outcomes as defined in the New Homes annual plan. **Responsibilities** + Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of inside sales representatives, ensuring they are well-trained and equipped to effectively communicate solar and battery storage offerings. + Lead, mentor and develop the sales operations team to support Account Managers and the Homebuilder Elite teams through tight processes, on time deliverables, and analytics & insights. + Manage the Business Analyst function that provides analytical support to the inside sales team, NH Account Managers and operation + Oversee onboarding and continuous training programs for new team members to enhance their sales skills and product knowledge. + Engage with homebuilders to present inside sales program offerings, train sales leaders on mutual processes and serve as primary point of contact for escalations. + Conduct capacity planning to optimize team performance and alignment with annual operating plan and sales goals. + Manage departmental costs and develop strategies to ensure financial performance aligns with company objectives. + Establish and track success metrics and KPIs to measure team performance and drive accountability. Ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and quality standards while hitting productivity targets. + Collaborate closely with revenue strategy, community enablement teams, and account managers to deliver best-in-class services, including builder reporting, issue resolution and + Actively participate in recommending, developing and documenting efficient systems, technology roadmaps, and processes to streamline sales operations to drive incremental margin and productivity. + Analyze data and metrics to identify trends, challenges, and opportunities for improvement. Communicate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive alignment and operational efficiency. + Report to the Vice President of Sales for New Homes, delivering key metrics related to throughput, customer decision-making, homebuilder satisfaction, and productivity and efficiency achievements. **Qualifications** + 8+ years of experience leading a team of sales operations and inside sales professionals. + 2+ years of experience in a high ticket sales role as an individual contributor with demonstrated results and sales achievements + Proven experience in the solar and battery storage industry, smart home technology, particularly in a sales operations capacity. + Strong background in new residential construction, familiar with California’s Title 24 codes and standards, production homebuilders, and third-party financing. + Strong communication skills, with experience in both B2B and B2C communications and presentations. + Demonstrated ability to identify, develop, implement and document process improvements. + Proficient in using Salesforce and other sales management tools, with a strong analytical mindset. + Results-driven with the ability to communicate effectively and motivate teams to achieve expected outcomes. + Strong leadership skills and experience managing teams of inside sales representatives and analysts.. + Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to build structure over time in a dynamic environment. + Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus. **What We Offer** + Competitive salary and benefits package. + Opportunities for professional growth and development. + A collaborative and innovative work environment. + A career that produces tangible benefits related to slowing climate change **Recruiter:** Laura Morgan (laura.morgan@sunrun.com) _Please note that the compensation information that follows is a good faith estimate for this position only and is provided pursuant to acts, such as The Equal Pay Transparency Act.
