Sr. Manager, Risk Management and Treasury

We are seeking a **Senior Manager, Risk Management & Treasury** to join our team and take on a pivotal role in overseeing corporate risk, insurance programs, and vendor relationships while supporting Treasury functions alongside the Treasurer. This position involves managing corporate insurance programs, including renewals, claims, audits, and risk mitigation initiatives, with a focus on enhancing workplace safety and reducing exposure. Additionally, the role supports Treasury operations by handling daily cash management activities, such as bank reconciliations, wire processing, and driving process improvements. The Senior Manager also oversees corporate travel programs, card programs, fleet management, and contract performance bonding, contributing to the operational excellence of the organization. **How You'll Make an Impact** + Oversee all aspects of corporate insurance programs, including property, general liability, workers' compensation, auto, D&O, cyber, fiduciary, crime, EPL, foreign, excess umbrellas, and punitive damages. + Manage the annual insurance budget, including premiums and workers' compensation reserves. + Lead insurance renewal processes by engaging brokers and key stakeholders, ensuring cost-effective outcomes. + Conduct audits on prior year premiums and coordinate onsite safety and compliance visits. + Analyze claims exposure and loss data, manage the claims process, negotiate with adjusters, and approve settlements or reserve adjustments. + Represent the company in the Captive Insurance Program, participating in workshops and implementing risk reduction procedures. + Develop and enforce policies and procedures to promote safety, risk awareness, and training across the organization. + Manage OSHA reporting, resolutions, and compliance, including fulfilling federal and state requirements. + Assist the Assistant Treasurer and Treasurer in identifying financial risks and opportunities through cash flow reporting, variance analysis, and financial modeling. + Collaborate in developing a credit desk to monitor client creditworthiness using key performance indicators within the FDC model. + Manage daily cash positions and fund movements via ACH and wire transactions. + Oversee bank relationships, account management (setup and closures), and internal process improvements. + Partner with General Accounting on bank reconciliations and Treasury-related projects. + Work with Loss Prevention to implement and audit safety procedures at all company locations. + Manage risk-related processes and vendors, including the BNC fleet program, Corporate American Express Card program, and travel services. + Oversee performance bonds to ensure accuracy and necessity of bonding and payments. + Prepare and present executive-level reports summarizing data on insurance renewals and risk management initiatives. + Serve as the primary contact for insurance-related matters in leases, vendor contracts, and supplier agreements, ensuring adequate company protection. + Present and communicate with internal and external stakeholders across all organizational levels. + Design and implement strategies to enhance processes and operational efficiency. + Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. + Ensure compliance with company standards, policies, and the Code of Business Conduct and Ethics outlined in the Employee Handbook. **What You'll Need to Succeed** **Experience:** + 7+ years of experience in corporate risk management, insurance, Treasury, or related fields, including 3–5 years specifically in Treasury operations. + Demonstrated expertise in managing corporate insurance programs, including renewals, claims, audits, and risk mitigation strategies. + Experience supporting Treasury functions, including cash management, financial modeling, and process improvements. + Familiarity with vendor and operational management, such as corporate travel and card programs. **Education & Certifications:** + Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred). + Associate in Risk Management (ARM) or other relevant certifications (required or actively in progress). **Skills & Competencies:** + Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and deliver actionable insights. + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with experience in Treasury Management Systems (TMS) and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. + Excellent organizational, time management, and project management skills. + Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments and teams. + Proven ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism in all situations. + Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships across various stakeholders. **_Note:_** _This hybrid position requires regular in-office work at our NJ office, typically three days per week._ **How We Elevate Our Employees** We believe your success is our success, so our benefits package is designed specifically to support you in every aspect of your life.
