Sr. Manager, Sales Contracting

As the Senior Manager of Sales Contracting apart of the Procurement team, you’ll lead a team responsible for business sales contracting efforts, from traditional business device sales to our most complex new business offerings. You’ll work internally with cross-functional teams to support successful contracting to grow business and services revenue. You’ll also negotiate externally with customers and their procurement functions.
This role is hybrid, which means you will be required to work some days on-site at the Best Buy location listed on this posting and some days virtually from home or other non-Best Buy location. What you’ll doLead a team of contracting professionals to achieve revenue goals, including modeling proficient contracting processes Train the contracting team to new ways of working and train the business sales teams on contracting processesWorking cross-functionally on contracting elements such as risk, privacy and legalReport metrics that influence the procurement department and engagement with our partnersLead senior leadership conversations on a quarterly basis related to the workload, wins and areas of concern related to contracts that the team supportsProvide leadership in analyzing and responding to request for proposal requirements and other sales enablement processesBasic qualifications3 years of direct people leadership experience2 years of contracting experience2 years of experience working with procurement or sales technology tools2 years of experience building relationships with executive stakeholders, influencing change and driving progressStrong organization, communication and presentation skillsPreferred qualificationsPrevious experience building teamsSales, procurement or legal experienceExperience in business development or project managementExperience in the retail industryExperienced working in a large, matrixed organizationWhat’s in it for you
