Security Operations is the team that handles day to day protection of our environment and the tools that support them. This team takes care of identifying security weaknesses and facilitates remediation efforts. Additionally, this team monitors networks to assesses abnormal behaviors and manages security incidents to allow for execution of response processes.

 

Your impact:

Under the direction of the Sr. Director of Security Operations, the Sr. Manager, Threat and Vulnerability Management will lead and drive the vulnerability management strategy across our global infrastructure. This hands-on position is pivotal in protecting our company's digital assets, customer data, and business operations through proactive threat identification and robust security assessments. You will mature how we identify and analyze vulnerabilities across our traditional, cloud, and containerized environments while leading a team of security professionals collaborating with stakeholders to strengthen our overall security posture.

 

What the role offers:

Leading the development and execution of enterprise-wide vulnerability management strategies by prioritizing remediation efforts based on business impact, threat intelligence, and asset criticalityOverseeing the implementation of automated vulnerability scanning tools and risk scoring frameworks Deploying Vulnerability Management tools for containerized environments such as GCP, AWS, and AzureSupporting compliance with key regulations (PCI, SWIFT, CyberEssentials+, FedRAMP) through ongoing vulnerability scanning, monitoring and reportingMaturing metrics and KPIs to measure program effectiveness, creating executive-level reporting on risk posture, and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders to ensure security initiatives align with business objectives and compliance requirements.Working in a fast paced and changing environment while handling multiple tasks and directives.     Hiring, coaching and mentoring technical teams.  Reporting on team performance.

 

What you need to succeed:

Deep understanding of the vulnerability management lifecycle and experience with tools like Qualys, Prisma, and Nessus.Strong knowledge of security frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS) and container vulnerability scanning in CI/CD pipelines.Proven ability to present security posture and risks to senior leadership and non-technical audiences.10+ years of information security experience, including 5+ years in leadership roles managing teams of 10+ professionals.Expertise in risk assessment, developing risk treatment plans, and tracking security metrics and KPIs.Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or related field; CISSP, CISA, or CISM certifications preferred.Success in building collaborative relationships across IT, Development, and Business teams in dynamic environments.
