Sr. Manager, Security Operational Programs

What you'll do As a Senior Manager of Security Operational Programs, you will partner with the IT, Product, Security and other multi-functional COE leaders across the org to develop, manage, and scale key initiatives, processes, and operations. The ideal candidate possesses exceptional security operational and program management skills and motivational change leadership supporting functions like Resilience, Vulnerability management, Disaster recovery, and Business Continuity. You are always ready to “roll up” your sleeves and dig into details to assess business needs and identify gaps in security processes. You are able to turn complex problems into prioritized, well-executed solutions that drive impact. You will lead technical program managers to deliver security operational initiatives supporting security functions to drive compliance of our security controls. This position is a people manager role reporting to the Director, Security Strategy & Programs. Responsibility Lead and mentor a team of technical project managers to deliver security operational initiatives supporting security functions to drive compliance of our security controls, identify operational and process gaps, and drive optimization and productivity in processes Lead discussions and negotiations to ensure that information security requirements are strategically aligned with business objectives and integrated seamlessly into operational planning Provide strategic direction and operational control over Security Operational programs like Disaster recovery, Business Continuity, Incident Management, Vulnerability Remediations, Access reviews, Compliance control gap remediations, Audit evidences and control gap remediations Be responsible for supporting the administration of the company's global business continuity and disaster recovery enterprise resilience program Work closely with Business Leadership on significant projects that affect the company's resiliency of critical business functions/processes Develop schedules and materials for Business Continuity training/awareness activities to ensure that business continuity teams are trained and proficient in implementing the business continuity plans Coordinate business recovery disaster recovery exercises Develop, Administer and manage content on the Business Continuity Intranet sites Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices Build and maintain relationships with adjacent teams in other security, product and IT functions to ensure the success of security processes and critical security initiatives Communicate program outcomes and/or risks to the appropriate management channels and raise issues, as vital, according to the program work plan Job Designation Hybrid: Employee divides their time between in-office and remote work. Access to an office location is required. (Frequency: Minimum 2 days per week; may vary by team but will be weekly in-office expectation) Positions at Docusign are assigned a job designation of either In Office, Hybrid or Remote and are specific to the role/job. What you bring Basic Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Risk Management, or a related field 8+ years of experience in business continuity, disaster recovery, incident management, crisis management, risk management, or a related field. 8+ years of experience in Program Management 6+ years of experience in security domain across functional areas such as Incident Management, Vulnerability management, Crisis Management, or Audit & Compliance Familiarity with regulatory requirements and industry standards Demonstrated ability to lead multi-functional teams and manage complex projects Preferred Solid understanding of business continuity and disaster recovery principles, methodologies, and best practices Excellent project management, communication, and interpersonal skills Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities Ability to work under stress and manage multiple priorities Certifications in one or more of CISM, CISA, CISSP, CompTIA Security+, ITIL, CSM, CSPO Familiar in different security domains such as Network Security, Application Security, Data Security, Vulnerability Management, Client and Cloud Security Good understanding of security controls and how they should be implemented across applications, systems and internal/cloud platforms Skilled at dealing with ambiguity in a rapidly growing and changing environment Strong discernment and technical background, with the ability to quickly understand and communicate technical concepts and challenges across wide-ranging audiences Diligent individual with the ability to rapidly learn and take advantage of new concepts, business models, and technologies Excellent relationship building skills and track record of positive collaborator feedback Strong analytical thinking and investigative/problem solving capabilities Proactive self-starter, ability to take initiative, learn quickly and drive operational excellence Confident in working with executive team members as working with security experts and product owners at all levels Wage Transparency Pay for this position is based on a number of factors including geographic location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Based on applicable legislation, the below details pay ranges in the following locations: California: $171,500.00 - $277,025.00 base salary Washington: $164,800.00 - $242,225.00 base salary This role is also eligible for bonus, equity and benefits.
