We are looking for a highly skilled and strategic Senior Manager of BI Reporting and Analytics to lead our MMS business intelligence and analytics teams. The role will oversee the development, implementation and optimization of BI reporting and analytics solutions to drive data-informed decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software development, analytics, leadership, customer facing applications, business acumen, with a proven ability to translate data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Management:

Lead, mentor, and develop a team of full stack developers, data scientists, data developers, QA testers, technical product owners, business analysts and production support personnel.Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, innovation, and professional growth.Define team goals, prioritize workloads, and ensure alignment with organization objectives.Lead resource planning and allocation, utilization to drive quality and productivity.Promote a culture of data driven decision making across the organization.

Strategy and Planning:

Develop and execute technology strategy to best deliver business objectives.Partner with stakeholders across departments to understand customer needs and identify opportunities for improvements.Develop proactive resource and risk mitigation plans.Drive high quality, highly reliable, highly available and performant platform solutions.

BI Reporting and Analytics Development:

Stay up to date with latest trends in technology, tools, and analytics.Oversee the design, development and maintenance of BI dashboards, reports, and analytics models.Conduct architecture reviews, design reviews and code reviews.Ensure the accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data and analytics solutions.Implement best practices for software development, access control, application and data governance, security, compliance.Implement branching strategies to support parallel development and releasing.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

Work closely with IT, development, and business teams to ensure application and data infrastructure supports volume and growth.Translate complex data finding into actionable recommendations to help shape business strategy and operations.Serve as the primary liaison between IT and business stakeholders.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Analytics or related field (Master’s preferred)15+ years of experience in software development, architecture, analytics, with 7+ years of experience leading development teams.

Skills and Expertise:

Strong proficiency in full stack technologies, BI tools, and data analysis tools.Experience with IDM, RBAC, SSO, DevOps tools, and Cloud platforms.Solid background in building customer facing applications.Excellent problem solving and critical thinking skills.Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate effectively with stakeholders.Proven track record of delivering critical initiative on time, on budget and with quality.

The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. $133,900 - $223,100
