Sr. Manager, Software Development & Engineering Senior

Research, design, and develop computer and network software programs. Work with a team of developers, working in an agile environment using both backend and frontend tools. Act as a key contributor to the codebase, as well as serve as a mentor to junior developers on the team. Serve in a QA capacity as needed to validate and verify dev work is production ready. Work with business partners to highlight risk and establish realistic timelines. Analyze business requirements and track dependencies. Participate in team discussions to create and improve team processes that lead to increased productivity. Review code from other contributors, providing help and suggestions as needed. Review and implement designs that come from design partners. Salary: $142,330.00 - $246,800.00 **What you have** Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering (any) or a related field and 72 months of progressive, post-Bachelor’s experience in a related occupation; or a Master's degree and 48 months of experience. Experience must include the following: Develop backend microservices in Java with Spring Boot that fetch and serve data to the front end applications; Develop frontend client experiences using Typescript, Angular, HTML5, and CSS; CI/CD tool Bamboo for continuous integration and conduct nightly regression test runs; Git version control using Bitbucket to check in code and conduct code reviews; Develop frontend automated unit tests with Jasmine and Karma to verify new code is not introducing new bugs; Develop backend automated unit tests with Junit and Mockito to verify new code is not introducing new bugs; and Develop automated regression tests using Webdriver I/O and Cucumber to increase efficiencies in release testing. **What’s in it for you** At Schwab, we’re committed to empowering our employees’ personal and professional success.
