Senior Manager, DevSecOps

This position is within the Zix | AppRiver business unit of Cybersecurity SMB & Consumer. Zix | AppRiver is a trusted leader in providing productivity, email security, and compliance solutions for businesses of all sizes.

 

Your Impact:

As a leader, you will be instrumental in constructing cutting-edge systems that help guide our customers through challenging cyber risks to ultimately find even greater opportunities. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the effort to design and implement DevSecOps tooling and automation for publicly available cloud-based management systems and private cloud-based security and compliance solutions. You will engage in solving meaningful challenges within a motivated team, gaining exposure to advanced technologies beyond individual access.  As a champion and evangelist of DevSecOps culture you will influence and guide agile development teams toward automation, shifting left, and increasing release velocity while fostering collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement. You will work to break down silos between development and operations teams, encouraging open communication and shared responsibilities.

 

What the role offers:

As a Senior Manager, DevSecOps, you will

Implement DevSecOps strategies and methods throughout the development and deployment process for technical solutionsEnsure repeatable and successful development and deployment processesCollaborate with Development, Security, Quality, Operations and other functions to optimize fast flow and feedback the development and operational lifecycles for servicesDrive a security-first mindset across the development lifecycle, ensuring robust protection for our systems and dataDevelop and implement DevSecOps strategies to embed security practices into CI/CD pipelines and workflowsAct as a liaison between development, security, and operations teams to align goals and PrioritiesPartner with product teams to design and deploy secure architectures for applications and services

 

What you need to Succeed:

7+ years of experience as DevSecOps Engineer3+ years as a DevSecOps or Software Engineer team leadExperience with CI/CD pipelines incorporating quality and security best practicesExperience identifying and designing 'Shift Left' effortsClear understanding of Agile methodologiesClear understanding of DevOps culture and conceptsGood understanding of Software development life cycle through delivery and continual operational supportGoal driven; plans and manages toward achieving goals, anticipates problems and issues and proactively drives their resolutionExcellent written and verbal communication skills across all levelsAble to handle large-scale and multiple products and teams concurrentlyMust be confident, highly motivated and passionate about delivery and customer satisfaction
