Senior Manager – Software Engineering:

 

WHAT THE ROLE OFFERS:

 

Work with Product Management and other stakeholders on understanding Product Roadmap and work with the team to build and deliver the committed features in the product releases.Participates in long-range planning and is involved in the development of operational goals, as well as engineering specifications. Often plays a proactive role in developing and applying new approaches to engineering design and development. Participates in the modification, development and implementation of company practices and policies that affect subordinate employees.Works on issues where analysis of situation requires a good understanding of organizational objectives.Frequently interacts with direct reports, customers, managers and/or peer group managers. Communicates organizational and functional strategy and translates it into functional goals.Develops and provides challenging yet appropriate assignments, evaluates work, communicates progress toward career development and goals. Interfaces with senior management to report on project and program milestones and to present project needs

 

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED:

 

BA/BS or MS/MA/MBA in Computer Science or related field 15+ years of experience in Software Development & managementTechnical and analytical (problem solving) skillsWritten/Oral Communication skills. Interpersonal skills. Understanding of business environment. Presentation skills. Conflict resolution skills. Proficient in Technical Illustration. Mentoring/Coaching skills.

 

Desirable:

 

Experience in developing products/applications in content managementExpertise in building enterprise software
