The Strategy + Operations team within the People function at Peloton ensures our People team runs smoothly, measures its success, and drives meaningful change. As our Sr. Manager, you'll report to the Sr. Director, Strategy and Operations and lead the People PMO team.
YOUR DAILY IMPACT AT PELOTON
Measure our impact: Monitor key success measures and milestones to ensure we identify risks, implement improvements, measure progress and celebrate successes. Refine our OKRs and KPIs to provide insights into team and department performance and Impact. Support the People Leadership team in delivering and refining Quarterly Business Reviews QBRs. Collaborate with the People Analytics team to ensure the department has access to the data it needs and can leverage insights to drive improvements. Drive change: Deliver on strategic projects to support Peloton’s trajectory Oversee the department's strategic plan, including progress reviews, initiative evaluations, priority reviews, resource allocation discussions, and lessons learned. Oversee the People team's project portfolio, managing intake, prioritization, and progress reporting. Lead and support a team of high-performing project managers to deliver key projects. Directly lead priority initiatives and influence others through scoping and change management. Run business operations: Ensure that all team members feel connected, providing opportunities for development, alignment and community. Manage the resources of the department, including support from other teams, to deliver initiatives related to development, communication and engagement. This may include: Facilitating access to external expertise and educational opportunities to support Development Leading regular communication within the department, including monthly Town Halls and newsletters to the company Establishing regular hybrid and remote-friendly events, celebrations and moments ofrecognition
YOU BRING TO PELOTON
You have 6 years of directly applicable experience. You've worked in HR previously. You do not need to be an expert in all HR disciplines, but you have a curious mind. You’re not afraid to ask questions and get your hands dirty You have successfully led high-profile cross-functional projects in the past and managed other PMs to do the same. You have experience getting the best out of teams. You have a passion for design-thinking and centering the user experience. Ideally, you’ve had exposure to or worked in business operations. You do not need to have a linea path, but you do need to understand what excellence looks like when operating a business. You’re equally comfortable managing up and influencing without authority as you are delegating You're self-aware, understanding your strengths and how to improve your areas of growth. You have the capacity to switch between high-level strategic thinking and detailed execution, using your judgment to determine the appropriate approach. Communication at all levels is a strength. You understand the power of data and how to leverage it to make better decisions. You're fearless and action-oriented. You are unafraid to take risks and ask for permission later. You’re committed to inclusion and seek out diverse perspectives, ensuring all team members feel a sense of belonging and connection. You handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity. The base salary range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary range for this position based at our New York City headquarters. The actual base salary offered for this position will depend on numerous factors including individual performance, business objectives, and if the location for the job changes.
