Job Summary:
The Saudi Arabia Supplier Performance Leader is a pivotal role within Raytheon's Operations & Supply Chain organization. This role is focused on driving exceptional performance at key suppliers for high-visibility localization
programs. Based in Riyadh, KSA, this role requires a dynamic individual with deep expertise in supplier performance management, capable of elevating & upskilling suppliers with low operational maturity, ensuring adherence to Raytheon's stringent quality, cost, and delivery standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Supplier Performance Focus: Develop and implement targeted performance management strategies to ensure the supplier meets Raytheon's quality, cost, and delivery schedule requirements.
Continuous Improvement: Lead continuous improvement initiatives at the supplier site, focusing on process optimization, quality enhancement, and cost reduction to elevate our CORE domain maturity.
Performance Metrics: Establish, monitor, and report weekly & monthly on supplier performance metrics, conducting regular reviews and assessments to identify areas for improvement, ensure alignment with program objectives, and improve performance leveraging the CORE tier management framework.
Issue Resolution: Proactively identify and resolve performance issues at supplier sites & sub-tiers, working closely with the supplier and internal stakeholders, implementing corrective actions preventing recurrence.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate supply chain risks specific to the supplier and program, ensuring uninterrupted supply and program success.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including engineering, quality, and program management teams, to ensure alignment on supplier performance objectives and initiatives.
Relationship Development: Provide on-site training and daily in-person engagement with key suppliers at the prime and subteir levels, fostering a collaborative relationship, ensuring performance & timely access.
Strategic Sourcing Support: Support strategic sourcing initiatives related to the supplier, ensuring alignment with Raytheon's broader supply chain and program goals
Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports on supplier performance metrics in close collaborating with the subcontracts manager, providing insights and actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, engineering, business administration, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred
Experience: Minimum of 10 years of experience in supplier performance management, supply chain management, or operations management, with a demonstrated track record of driving performance improvements (metric oriented) in low-maturity environments
Technical Skills: Strong technical skills and understanding of manufacturing processes, quality standards, and performance metrics.
Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills with experience in data analysis, performance metrics, and process improvement
Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders with indirect reporting relationships.
Leadership: Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and drive performance improvements within supplier organizations
Project Management: Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a focused, high-stakes environment.
Detail-oriented: Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Languages: Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is highly desirable
