Job DescriptionAs a senior manager, the person in this position is responsible for providing the highest service level and facing fill rate within the working capital constraints of the financial plan. This manager also provides broad direction through subordinate managers and is responsible for the key metrics of network and facing fill rates, inventory turns and inventory working capital.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
Set strategic direction for supply chain initiatives.Develop proactive strategies to anticipate and mitigate issues and risks with respect to supply planning.Provide consultative guidance on the most complex aspects of developing inventory supply plans.Manage supply planning system and process improvements.Provide leadership to direct reports and team members.Responsible for inventory targets and order quantities.Perform inventory segmentation.Manage inventory of new and phase-out parts.Validate and meet the monthly inventory days of supply and facilitate the reduction of excess inventory. QualificationsRequires a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A master's degree or equivalent is preferred. Requires at least 8 years related experience. Requires at least 3 years experience as a manager. APICS or equivalent certification is preferred.
Understands the product life cycle and underlying business planning requirements. Broad expertise with best practices in Supply Chain Management, purchasing, and inventory planning. Excellent leadership, organizational and managerial skills. decision-making and problem-solving skills. Excellent analytical skills related to process improvement. Excellent continuous improvement skills. Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written). Ability to coordinate a team environment. Proficient in standard Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access). Strong functional knowledge of SAP ECC master data requirements. Ability to motivate employees. Ability to recruit, interview, select, and develop professional team members. Expert in inventory optimization and analysis.

The Compensation range for this position is approximately $113k - $145k and will be based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and education.
