Job Description

We are seeking a strategic and results-oriented Senior Manager of Account Management to lead our team and drive the success of our media partnerships.

The Senior Manager of Account Management will oversee the account management function within the Nordstrom Media Network, acting as a strategic leader for brand partner relationships and internal teams. This individual will manage a team of Account Managers, ensure the delivery of exceptional client service, and lead the development of integrated advertising strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital advertising, leadership experience, and the ability to align team efforts with the broader goals of the organization.

A day in the life...
 

Strategic Leadership:

Develop and implement strategies to grow revenue across the Nordstrom Media Network by strengthening client relationships and identifying new opportunities.Serve as a trusted advisor for high-value clients and key brand partners, providing strategic guidance on campaign development and performance optimization.Align the account management team’s activities with the overall goals of the Nordstrom Media Network and broader organizational priorities.
 

Team Management:

Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Account Managers, fostering professional development and ensuring excellence in client service.Establish clear performance goals and KPIs for the account management team, regularly evaluating progress and providing constructive feedback.Collaborate with HR and leadership to recruit, onboard, and retain top talent for the account management team.
 

Client Relationship Management:

Oversee a portfolio of high-value accounts, ensuring exceptional service and long-term brand-partner satisfaction.Act as an escalation point for complex client issues, working to resolve challenges in a timely and effective manner.Proactively identify opportunities to deepen client partnerships, such as upselling or cross-selling additional advertising solutions.
 

Campaign Oversight and Optimization:

Supervise the planning, execution, and delivery of advertising campaigns, ensuring they meet client objectives and are executed to the highest standards.Collaborate with analytics and product teams to evaluate campaign performance, providing actionable insights to clients and internal stakeholders.Drive innovation in campaign strategies by leveraging industry trends, new technologies, and data-driven solutions.
 

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Partner with sales, marketing, creative, and analytics teams to deliver seamless and integrated advertising solutions.Provide feedback to product development teams to enhance the Nordstrom Media Network’s offerings and capabilities.Represent the Nordstrom Media Network in client presentations, industry events, and internal leadership discussions.

You own this if you have...

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent industry experience.8+ years of experience in account management, digital advertising, or media sales, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role.Deep understanding of digital advertising channels, including programmatic, social, display, and search.Proven ability to develop and execute strategic plans that drive revenue growth and client success.Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, coach, and motivate a high-performing team.Strong analytical mindset with experience interpreting campaign data and delivering actionable insights.Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a track record of building and maintaining strong relationships with senior clients and stakeholders.Proficient in CRM platforms, analytics tools, and project management software.Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities and deadlines.

Pay Range Details

The pay range(s) below are provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different in other locations.

Washington: $110,000-$210,000 annually

This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more.
