The Digital Retail Senior Manager leads the brand Digital Retail team and helps define and execute Arby’s Digital Guest Experience strategic plan. The Digital Retail team is part of the broader Arby’s Digital Guest Experience team, which is also comprised of Customer Marketing. The Arby’s Digital Guest Experience team drives the way guests interact with our brands across all digital platforms. We strive to provide seamless, optimized, and personalized digital experiences that enhance customer engagement, satisfaction, and loyalty, ultimately driving topline for our operators. This role will partner with each team to define and execute new digital initiatives, support national campaign goals, and solve for key opportunities in the digital guest's consumer journey.
This is an important role on Inspire’s Digital Guest Experience team and is key to Inspire’s journey in elevating and growing our digital business. To deliver on our multi-year roadmap and priorities, you will need to develop expertise in Arby’s business objectives, guest needs, franchisee needs, product performance, and technical platforms. You will collaborate with our brand, marketing, digital, and product teams to prioritize and deliver against the digital strategy.
This position sits in our Atlanta Support Center, with an expectation to be onsite 80% of the time.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Lead the Arby’s Digital Retail team and support in setting digital retail priorities and driving buy-in across a variety of stakeholder groups.Collaborate to develop the annual offer calendar for Ecomm with customer marketing and brand partners.Translate brand strategy and calendar into digital retail (e.g., app/web, digital menu board, merchandising) to include forecast promotion performance and supply impact.Execute on the digital strategy, scope, and implementation plan for digital channel through collaboration with partners across Marketing, Engineering, Product, Customer Support, and Operations.Leverage digital performance insights to understand technology trends and consumer shopping behaviors.Investigate performance changes to identify product improvements or strategy shifts that deliver on overall digital and e-commerce goals.Translate identified opportunities into customer and operator journeys that provide the storytelling and customer-centric lens.Partner across Product, Technology Operations, Operations, and third-party vendors to implement and execute new off and on-premise digital products.Develop KPIs for new features/functionality and partner with Product and Analytics teams to enable the measurement framework.Synthesize reporting on product features to recommend new iterations that realize the capability’s full value potential.Socialize and democratize the performance data from new feature releases to build awareness and program advocacy across brand and franchisee stakeholders.Stay current with digital best practices, strategies, competition, & industry standards.EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum: 4yr degree in business, economics, finance, engineering, marketing, or other relevant field, or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS
7+ years’ experience in e-commerce or digital marketing performing business planning, strategy, operations or managing digital / e-commerce channelsPREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS OR ABILITIES
Excellent project management skills, overseeing complex digital projects across multiple groups, ensuring stakeholders are held accountable and timelines are metExperience with e-commerce businesses and modern technologies including digital content management, product management tools, a/b testing tools, and web/app traffic analytics toolsStrong technical background with experience working closely with engineering, product, and operations teams on a daily basisExtreme attention to detail, accuracy, and follow-through; loves process and organizationDemonstrated ability to manage multiple projects across groups, including UX design, development, and QAExperience in requirements gathering and consumer journey mappingExperience with Agile Development MethodologiesExcel and Google Analytics ExperienceExcellent verbal and written communication skills for interaction with leadership, peers, staff, and vendorsComfortable preparing and delivering presentations to groups of varying sizeDIRECT REPORTS
