Sr. Manager Intake - Healthcare
This is a full-time position located in Phoenix, AZ
Compensation band: $91, to $101, per year
Dynamic and experienced Senior Manager of Intake to oversee and manage the intake process for Mission Healthcare. As the senior manager of intake, you will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient and effective coordination of patient admissions, fostering positive relationships with referral sources, key stakeholder engagement, and maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. This position requires strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of home health operations.
Essential Job Functions/Responsibilities:- Manage the intake process from referral to admission.- Coordinate with healthcare providers for smooth patient transitions.- Assess patient eligibility based on guidelines.- Supervise and support intake coordinators and administrative staff.- Promote a positive and collaborative work environment.- Oversee training and key performance indicators (KPIs).- Build and maintain relationships with referral sources.- Implement strategies to increase referrals and market share.- Collaborate with the sales team for smooth transitions.- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Position Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, business management, or a related field.- Minimum of 3 years of experience in healthcare intake coordination, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
