Description
Robert Half is seeking a Sr. Manager of IT Finance to join our client in the western suburbs. In this role, you will oversee IT financial operations, including managing the IT invoice processing team, conducting financial analysis, and leading the annual IT budget planning process.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee the management of IT invoice processing to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
• Handle financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting for IT expenses, identifying risks and opportunities.
• Execute accounting closing activities for IT overhead and IT managed expenses, including capitalized labor, journal entries, and accruals.
• Collaborate with IT, Project Management, Procurement, FP& A, and accounting teams to resolve invoice discrepancies and other issues.
• Lead the IT Services team through resource planning, upskilling, and recruitment of future talent.
• Review IT contracts for legal compliance and alignment with accounting policies.
• Provide IT leadership with financial insights to aid decision-making, including cost-benefit analysis and calculation of Net Present Value and Total Cost of Ownership.
• Lead the annual IT financial budgeting process, including developing timelines, consolidating submissions, facilitating budget reviews, and interfacing with the FP& A team.
• Oversee the evaluation of actual results against planned performance, influencing IT leadership to meet financial commitments.
• Prepare and present monthly financial updates to IT leadership & FP& A teams.
This role offers a salary range of $140,000-150,000 plus bonus and comes with the following benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 2 weeks vacation, 7 holidays, Summer Fridays and a hybrid work schedule.

Requirements • Proven experience in Accounting Functions with a strong understanding of financial principles
• Proficiency in Billing Functions with a focus on accuracy and efficiency
• Extensive knowledge and hands-on experience with SAP software
• Demonstrated ability to utilize Ariba for streamlined business operations
• Specific experience with SAP Ariba, integrating both software capabilities for optimized results
• Familiarity with Month End Close procedures and the ability to ensure timely completion
• Strong skills in Financial Analysis, with the ability to interpret and predict financial trends
• Experience in Financial Reporting, with the ability to create comprehensive and understandable reports
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including the use of complex formulas and data analysis tools.
