The Sr. Manager of Talent & Learning provides leadership and guidance to Cerrowire around talent acquisition, talent management, and talent development. Will be responsible for ensuring the organization has ‘ready-now’ talent to meet business needs and promotes an inclusive, equitable and diverse environment. This role manages the talent acquisition and learning agenda for the organization, including development, deployment, and execution. This role requires the ability to be able to work tactically on the nuts and bolts of various programs, but also strategically to set and lead efforts to build and develop programs and structure. The ability to design in a variety of learning modalities is key, as we work to scale learning across a rapidly growing organization.
Will also be the liaison for Cerrowire to the broader Marmon company on items related to talent management, working with Marmon partners on initiatives and improvement opportunities.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:Help drive world-class processes in all areas of human capital, to help the organization be the preferred employer and create an employee experience that enables success of individuals and the organizationEnsure a “ready-now” talent approach that anticipates business need and is able to supply the necessary talent to meet business objectivesCollaborate with the VP of Human Resources on sustaining a strategic talent review process that consistently identifies top talent, drives learning and development strategy, and identifies talent needs to execute business strategyManage use of assessment and development tools to provide greater clarity and understanding throughout the organization to improve performanceManage and maintain the company’s performance feedback process ensuring that every team member receives timely, accurate, clear, and ongoing feedbackManage company’s Employee Engagement initiatives and surveysBuild and manage development programs for early career, front-line leaders and managersTalent Acquisition Leadership:Lead the Talent Acquisition function to ensure a robust end-to-end recruiting process, including manager in-take process, sourcing & screening of candidates, offer negotiation, and onboardingUtilize continuous improvement to ensure an excellent candidate experience and effective quality of hireEvaluate and analyze data and metrics in relation to established Talent Acquisition goals and Key Performance IndicatorsProactively source and qualify candidates using all possible methods, including social media, networking and various other recruiting toolsTake a lead role in ensuring the organization strengthens its Employee Value Proposition and is positioned as an employer of choice in the markets we operateEnsure the company has a solid college and early-career recruiting processBe a resource for the HR team and hiring managers on effective recruiting strategiesManage internal and external talent acquisition team and partnersDevelopment & Learning Leadership:Ensure the organization has robust training programs and structure to move the company forward and align organizational capability with business strategyIdentify training needs by consulting with stakeholders and conducting learning and development needs assessments and analysisWork with subject matter experts to develop, source and coordinate learning; manage 3rd-party consultants and providers as necessaryPartner with key leaders (line leaders, HR and central teams) to share best practices, partner on solutions, and move the organization forwardCollaborate with cross-functional teams to build and iterate on existing learning programs, identify opportunities for cultural infusion, and incorporate best practicesDeveloping and implementing strong onboarding and training programs that provide every team member with the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to be successfulAreas of learning and development include, but are not limited to:Role specific job processes, Onboarding, IT systems, Product training, Company strategy, Leadership developmentEnsure processes are efficient and effective:Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements, along with corporate/company guidelinesDrive the adoption and use of a learning management system that allows the company to maintain appropriate training records, document training requirements, create online learning opportunities, and aid in the creation of a well-functioning training programQualifications, Experience and Education:

Minimum requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in related field required. Advanced degree in OD, L&D, or related field highly preferred.7+ years work experience in the areas of management and leadership development, organizational development, group facilitation, training and training design7+ years of experience in instructional design of leadership and management learning solutions, training, and skill development programs5+ years of experience in talent acquisition management, with experience recruiting all levels of an organizationExperience with and understanding of employee engagement, various assessment tools (Predictive Index preferred), talent reviews, performance management, and Lean.Experience in a high growth business environment with the practical application of leadership development, learning, and talent managementExperience leading the implementation of organizational change initiatives

Preferred requirements:

Experience applying a holistic approach to development that emphasizes not just education, but also self-awareness, exposure to real-world problems, connections to people, and persuasive tools and resources that reinforce skillsExperience building and implementing a mechanism to inventory, track, and follow up on actions and development progress/readiness and measure successComputer proficiency in MS Office programs, HRIS, and learning platformsExperience designing and implementing effective training and development programs
