Your Role at KIK

The Sr. Manager, Pricing and Marketing Analytics is responsible for the overall pricing and business analytics capabilities within the Marketing organization.  This includes, but is not limited to, market pricing strategy, product cost analysis, POS performance analysis and understanding category share performance.  The role will be to directly partner with the Sales, Marketing and Finance teams (among other cross-functional teams) to provide analysis and recommendations on key business decisions. 

 

What You’ll Be Doing

Develop and implement pricing strategy: Tracks and communicates retail pricing changes vs. established benchmarks across customer, channel, and competition to ensure Clorox, BioGuard and Natural Chemistry brands are competitively positioned in marketplace. Articulates pricing strategy for product segments (core vs ancillary) vs competitive benchmarks. Develops proactive pricing strategies that advance market position while maximizing customer and company profitability Anticipates forecasted raw material changes for key core products; collaborating with Finance and Procurement to quantify impact to P&L and recommendations to address. Owns pricing action recommendations to Pool leadership team and manages execution with cross functional team members: Product Management, Finance, Sales, MDM/SAP to maintain improve margins. Creates model of estimated sales, pricing, and margin to maximize assortment impact at retail.  Identifies key pricing thresholds in category and optimal price points and ladders by product line/channel. Publishes guidance for pricing execution: List Price, Price Floor, and Price Ceiling for product lines,  Owns the MAP pricing strategy; partnering with Sales and external partners to manage the communication and enforcement of MAP policies. Manages core Sales/Marketing data sets (POS, customer inventory, internal sales, margin, etc) in partnership with IT and Finance; ensures data is clean, reliable and available Completes ongoing and ad-hoc analyses to inform strategic business decisions across the organization: Channel/Customer/Brand/Item performance Share performance New item forecasting and performance Growth opportunity identification and assessment Partners with technology team to build and automate dashboards for key ongoing analyses

What You’ll Bring

Bachelors degree in related discipline required; MBA preferred At least 7 years of experience working in a series of analytical roles (i.e., data science, business analytics, pricing, revenue management, etc) CPG or retail experience required Experience with pricing strategy including ability to create/interpret P&Ls to make pricing related decisions Experience with retailer programs and their impact on the P&L Experience with raw material cost inflation/deflation and its impact on pricing Experience working with internal and external sales data Experience leveraging and structuring automated dashboards (e.g., PowerBI) to make real-time data accessible throughout the organization Experience managing and enforcing MAP pricing policies Entrepreneurial and Innovative thinking Strong sense of urgency and ability to make decisions in a fast-paced environment Strong Communication skills and experience working with a cross-functional team Passion to understand consumers and their behaviors Desire to join an organization where you can have a big impact on business results, influence marketing strategies and be rewarded for results
