About the Role The Senior Manager Strategic Initiatives & Continuous Improvement will be responsible for driving and supporting the holistic design development implementation and management of strategic initiatives within the Senior organization. This role will also be responsible for identifying opportunities for continuous improvement throughout the end-to-end sales process from inception through enrollment focused on enhanced technology and tools that improve efficiency and enhance the Agent experience while ensuring compliance. In addition this role will be responsible for driving the technology development roadmap to ensure the Senior organization is building towards the future to adapt to industry changes and the needs of our holistic agent workforce. Supervisory Responsibilities: This position has direct supervisory responsibilities. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Develop and refine the Senior organization’s strategic initiative plan in collaboration with senior leadership to set clear objectives and priorities Identify and assess potential strategic initiatives and projects that align with the organization’s overall strategic goals Design develop implement and manage strategic projects from inception to completion including creating a detailed project plan; overseeing the daily execution of the project plan across a large cross-functional team; leading collaborative efforts across Sales; Operations; Marketing; Analytics and Development and leading highly productive meetings Anticipate potential challenges and risks associated with strategic initiatives and develop proactive mitigation plans Utilize data-driven insights to inform decision-making measure progress and adjust strategies as needed Champion change management within the organization as necessary to support the successful implementation and evolution of strategic initiatives As the Strategic Initiative owner drive accountability across the cross-functional team members to ensure timelines and deliverables are achieved under compressed timelines Proactively “connect the dots” for complex initiatives to drive awareness of potential watch outs and concerns; drive the cross-functional team to the best decision with buy-in from key stakeholders while ensuring full understanding of risks and agent experience challenges Identify opportunities for continuous improvement across the Senior organization including process technology and tools Develop and implement a robust methodology that assesses opportunities for continuous improvement that considers financial benefits agent experience benefits industry changes regulatory landscape etc. Foster a constant culture of innovation within the organization that champions creative thinking and solutions Responsible for working with cross functional leadership to develop the technology roadmap to ensure it meets the ever changing needs of the business including but not limited to regulatory changes; evolving agent experience and industry challenges Lead the prioritization of development activities in conjunction with the designated Business Product Owners to ensure the Senior organization is prioritizing and developing technology that is the most beneficial to the organization by fulfilling regulatory requirements; decreasing cost or contributing to an improved agent experience Clearly articulate the value of the roadmap and the trade-offs necessary to ensure appropriate prioritization Provide clear and concise executive level updates on roadmap status and development initiatives including critical paths risks and mitigation strategies Skills/Abilities: Well-rounded strategic leader that can navigate the complexities of strategic planning and execution while successfully communicating and collaborating with others across the organization to achieve stated objectives Strong understanding of tools technology and the agile development process and ability to successfully partner with technical teams Ability to quickly synthesize information and connect the dots across complex large cross-functional projects Strong communication skills (written and verbal) including group presentations that are consistently and succinctly tailored to the needs of the audience Creative problem solver with the ability to bring together large cross-functional teams and drive alignment on solutions Ability to successfully prioritize and manage large complex projects deadlines and tasks with little supervision in both team and independent environments High attention to detail Self-motivated with an extremely strong sense of urgency Highly organized with a demonstrated ability to drive priorities and accountability that crosses several functional areas with critical timelines and activities Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment with competing priorities Strong written and verbal communication skills required to design and present commission plans to the Sales Team in a factual yet compelling manner Ability to influence teams and matrix manage internal resources Time management skills to adhere to strict deadlines Deep functional understanding of internal tools including but not limited to CRM AQE/MCE and critical vendor relationships and support models Deep understanding of Medicaid and Medicare and changing regulatory landscape Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in a related field required 8+ years of related experience required 6 years of management experience required Physical Requirements: Work is performed indoors with potential for exposure to safety and health hazards related to office work. Could periodically travel to other office and operational sites. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
