This position will be responsible for the supervision, engagement, training, coaching and counseling of the Shift Coordinators, Lift truck operators, Receiver, Supply chain and Inventory Analyst at the Woodridge facility. The Supply Chain OPS Managers works with the MFG team and employees to ensure the highest levels of productivity and throughput are achieved, provides support to the MFG lines to ensure the lines remain supplied with the raw materials while being responsible for the daily execution of the WHSE operations plan to ensure that all customer orders are shipped based on priority without compromising quality or Customer Service Levels.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Duties performed by this position will include, but not be limited to the following:
Supervise, engage, coach and counsel the Warehouse Staff to include Lift Truck Operators, Team Leads and Shift Coordinators Lead daily Tier 0 & Tier 1 meetings, ensuring standard work is followed, and all issues and problems are resolved or routed appropriatelyWorks with the Supply Chain Coordinators to monitor order queue, and ensures balance of labor for MFG/WHSE to execute work tasksQuickly addresses any problems, issues or adjustments as required to complete the operations plan and ensure on time customer shipmentsEnsures safety in the workspace by conducting safety audits, safety training and encouraging a safety orientated cultureMonitors Lift truck operator productivity and provides constructive feedback to help operators obtain and maintain maximum productivity levelsDevelops and implements supply chain plans that may affect the production, distribution, and inventory of finished products in order to enhance product flowAssists in the development of policies, guidelines, and procedures to ensure quality and cost controlUnderstands the cost drivers at the site, and works to minimize and reduce costs without sacrificing quality or customer deliveriesConducts distribution and network studies, monitors inventory, and analyzes requirements to develop strategies to achieve desired delivery times and order fill ratesDrives innovation and Continuous Improvement at the site, is a champion of Change Management to support MFG and WHSE operational improvementsMaintains appropriate records and prepares financial reports for monthly WHSE results Coordinates logistics activities with internal, (MFG) and external customersEnsures Quartly cycle count requirements are met to achieve inventory exemption requirements Collaborate with MFG planning & Procurement to ensure raw material and additive inventories are maintained at optimal levels to support the manufacturing scheduleMaintains the facility and retains appropriate records and prepare reports that satisfy sanitation requirements to achieve external audit requirements, (NSF)Qualifications
Requirements:
BA/BS Degree Preferred in logistics or related field5+ years of management experience in Distribution/Warehouse LogisticsProven success in improving Warehouse performanceStrong leadership and interpersonal skillsExperience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS); BY (Blue Yonder) a plusExperience with Enterprise Resource Planning Systems (ERP); SAP a plusSelf-Directed & demonstrates the ability to proactively identify and resolve discrepancies or potential issuesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDetail orientated, with high analytical abilityDemonstrated financial acumenExcellent problem identification & follow through to issue resolutionStrong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritizeDemonstrates the ability to work well with a variety of individuals.Demonstrates an understanding of automated distribution
