Sr. Manufacturing Maintenance Manager
Johnson Service Group (JSG), a national recognized recruiting firm, is assisting our global manufacturing client in finding a Sr. Manufacturing Maintenance Manager for their facility near Wytheville, VA. This position is responsible for leading a team of maintenance personnel while completing maintenance planning and implementing lean principles to enhance operational efficiency within the facility.

Responsibilities: Supervise and lead a team of maintenance technicians, and subcontractors to maintain site equipment and optimize facility performance. Establish preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and maximize equipment life. Manage the maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective maintenance practices and resource allocation. Provide coaching, mentoring, and training to enhance the team's skills and productivity. Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance strategy, ensuring optimal facility and production equipment performance. Identify cost-saving opportunities and work with supply change to negotiate contracts with vendors and service providers. Ensure facility complies with relevant safety, health, and environmental regulations. Maintain records of compliance and work with regulatory agencies as necessary, and ISO standards. Oversee and manage relationships with contractors, suppliers, and service providers. Ensure quick and effective response to urgent maintenance issues. Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities, costs, and equipment inventory.
Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience leading maintenance teams in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of building systems, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general maintenance practices. Our client is unable provide current or future sponsorship.
