Sanmina Corporation has facilities strategically located in key regions throughout the world.   PRODUCTION MANAGER: Job Purpose: The Primary Emphasis will be to direct and coordinate the development and implementation of activities in the Lamination, Inner Layers, LPI, Plasma, and Surface Finishes to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives. This is a “hands-on” position that frequently involves moving products. Nature of Duties/Responsibilities: Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply Plans and administers procedures and budgets, Makes budgetary recommendations Selects, trains, and develops personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the production function  Develops schedules and workforce requirements for assigned areas Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function  Supervises and coordinates the activities of workers engaged in the manufacture of Printed Circuit Boards  Studies production schedules and estimates worker-hour requirements for the timely completion of job assignments; interprets company policies to employees, and enforces safety regulations.  Interprets job specifications and assigns employees’ duties Assists employees in adhering to set work procedures  Uses knowledge of machine capacities and equipment performance to complete production schedules on time Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product  Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase department efficiency Report issues and situations between employees to the proper management personnel Initiates and suggests plans to motivate employees to achieve work goals Recommends and initiates personnel actions, such as promotions, transfers, discharges, and disciplinary measures Maintains time and production records  May confer with other Managers to coordinate activities of individual departments  Must be adept in the activities the employees who report to them are engaged in  Conducts frequent “huddles” with employees to keep them informed of internal company matters Additionally, this role will have dotted-line reports in surrounding areas and general building oversight.  Education and Experience Must have good written and communication skills Must be able to anticipate potential problems, both internal and external, to the specific department(s) being supervised Must possess the ability to lead and give clear direction to others Must be familiar with all PCB processes such as Lamination, Plasma Desmear, LPI/ Silkscreen application, Surface Finishes (immersion gold, Enepig Tin, and Silver finishes) Requires 10+ years of PCB experience and 5+ years of management experience Flexible scheduling is required.   This is an ITAR facility and applicant must be a US Citizen or a lawful permanent resident. The total rewards package also includes a variety of benefits, including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business and, depending on the role, may include eligibility for restricted stock unit awards and  participation in a discretionary bonus program.
